You can now include a link in your card text which will be added as a hyperlink source below the card.
Hoping this will better facilitate deep truth-seeking.
I've been making some major upgrades to @ProjectQrio
and have many more in the works.
So excited about this project that teaches a simple framework to improve reasoning as people map their worldviews and share them with others.
My startup, @ProjectQrio hit an exciting milestone this week: we got our first paying customer who I don't know!
Building a business really feels like a game quest to me.
New level unlocked🔓 50 coins awarded💰 Onward! 🧙♀️
"By harnessing System 2 to check System 1, we can improve decisions in economics, policy, and personal life, fostering a more rational approach amid the noise of intuition and experience."
This is what @ProjectQrio is for. :)
Now you can save your favorite cards in Qrio!
And when people "favorite" your cards, you will be awarded with a "heart" and can see who favorited your card.
This incentivizes people to create valuable cards and gives people a way to bookmark their favorites.
Fixed a bunch of small bugs and tried changing up the header on @ProjectQrio today. Feeling freed up to tackle some bigger updates in the coming weeks. 💪
Please send me more feature ideas and bugs as you find them!
I'm SO excited to release NotYourAverageSocrates on @ProjectQrio! 🥳
Socrates helps you explore the reasoning behind your beliefs, the results of your beliefs, and potential alternatives, and can even fill in the mindmap for you.
He also welcomes new users to the site and guides you through creating your first belief card.
This is still an Alpha version, so please don't hesitate to use the feedback button in the bottom right corner to report anything that's less than ideal.
NotYourAverageSocrates is currently free for everyone.
Happy exploring 🎶🎉
I made a mistake with the first version of @ProjectQrio by not making it mobile responsive from the beginning.
Not doing that again this time!
Everything that works on desktop also works on mobile and it’s a unique kind of social media experience because of the format.
You can pinch to zoom in/zoom out and pan around the map with your finger.
In the early days of a startup, each sale means so much to the founder.
Two unrelated purchases of lifetime premium subscriptions in two days makes me feel like @ProjectQrio is starting to get some momentum!
Exciting upgrade to @ProjectQrio - when you start typing to add a new belief, similar beliefs will come up and you have 3 options:
1. Copy the text of the card to customize in your own words.
2. Re-use the card exactly as it is but without its connections (credit goes to original poster).
3. Re-use the card WITH all of its connections - this means you not only add that card, but every argument and piece of evidence that that card is connected to.
This basically give you a way to merge mindmaps, or you could also think of it as creating a portal into another mindmap.
It also can just prevent you from having to re-do work within a single mindmap.
So fun! 😄
🌎@ProjectQrio is a tool to help you think, communicate, and make decisions with clarity by breaking down beliefs into underlying assumptions.
This 19 second video takes you through a mindmap that a group of us filled out over a two hour call.
We started out with someone making an assertion: "The society that we currently enjoy is a direct result of the cultural influence of Christianity" and then branched off from there, collecting reasons that might be true, as well as alternative narratives that might be true.
Even though we ended the discussion still in disagreement, we definitely understand our own reasons for our positions, as well as the rationale behind the positions we disagree with, much better.
What are some topics you might want to discuss with someone using this tool?
Got that fresh new card smell✨
Excited about some major redesigns I've been working on for @ProjectQrio. Just bear with me as it may take some time to get it all implemented in the app.
This is exactly the idea behind @ProjectQrio !
By working through the layers of assumptions that led you to your belief, not only can you clarify your thinking, you can also communicate your perspective to others much more effectively.
We got a small group together to do a debate on AI and labor in @ProjectQrio the other day.
It was a great discussion facilitated by the mindmap structure. I'll post a link below in case you'd like to explore the nodes or add your own cards.
I'd like to do more of these calls where we discuss a topic using Qrio. Comment here or message me if you'd like to join in the future. :)
Thanks for organizing this @silentmusi65892! 🙌
And thanks to @sergeynazarovx for this awesome screen recording software.
We've got a fantastic discussion about Capitalism taking place on @ProjectQrio, with multiple users making valuable contributions and many fascinating nodes branching off.
Hop in to join the discussion! Link below👇
Which do you think would improve @ProjectQrio more?
1. The ability to add questions about the highlighted belief to the mindmap.
2. The ability to add evidence (as a link) to support each assumption.
3. The ability to toggle between how many layers of abstraction are displayed at one time - currently it only shows one layer of abstraction at a time, as in it only shows belief cards that are one line away from the highlighted belief.
4. Other?
