First giant set today: barbell press, Arnold dumbbell press, rear hyperextensions, and standing ab roll outs. Halfway through the workout, switch the two shoulder presses for tricep extensions (pushdowns and overhead)
Giant sets are a form of HIIT--high intensity interval training--and I find they put you INTO your workout in such a way that 45 minutes can pass in an eyeblink
Leg day--it used to be a trial, now with giant sets I just plow through front squats, hyperextensions and weighted standing ab rollouts (with a 35lb plate on my back to boot)
Before I did giant sets at every workout I would struggle to really sweat. Now that I'm doing giant sets every workout sweating through the shirt is no prob, happens every workout

Trying something new: no iced beverage at the gym. I used to use it to keep from overheating but the giant sets allow me to warm up gradually. Let's see what happens. Should also save a lot of workout time
Ah the momentum and inertia of the giant set...didn't feel like doing any working out at all this morning but the structure of the giant set lured me in and now I am cranking out sets
One plate, one giant set completed--let's see how many I can do in 60 minutes (doing giant sets consisting of push-ups, bench press, hyperextensions and standing ab roll-outs)
Amazing how easy giant sets make working out. Every time I come to the gym I know exactly what I'm doing and how it's benefitting me. And now I'm soaked in sweat to boot
