𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗩𝗠𝗠𝗖)
Last quarter, we supported 28 @MinofHealthUG -accredited health facilities to circumcise 9,728 (116% of the quarterly target of 8,402) men through static and outreach models. This translated to a cumulative total of 24,154 circumcised men a 73% achievement against the 33,607 annual target. Of the 9,728 males circumcised, 8,292 males were tested for HIV/AIDS.

Our Executive Director @SemitalaFred has today visited Kidera HCIV and witnessed firsthand the positive impact of our programming at the facility. He conducted spot-checks, went through some checklists, and held a one-on-one interaction with staff. This is aimed at contributing to performance enhancement and mentorship.

For better event coordination and mapping up partner support towards World AIDS Day commemoration, our ED @SemitalaFred has held a courtesy meeting with the District Health Officer Buyende today at the District Health Offices, we will carry out a wide range of activities in the district geared towards commemorating the #WorldAidsDay as a key implementing partner.
The national commemorations will be held at Bukungu Primary School in Buyende District, which is part of our USAID-LPHS-EC Activity-supported districts.

#Day4 of the Senior Management Visit to USAID LPHS-EC Project sites in the East Central region, today we conclude the weeklong program with Kamuli Cluster Meeting.

We have held courtesy and protocol calls to districts of implementation. The visits have been handy in taking stock of the project gains and reflecting on the new financial year.

It was a pleasure spending the entire Tuesday with @MJAPUg staff in Bugiri and Iganga clusters of the #USAIDLPHS-EC Activity, as we reflect on new innovations 💡 that we need to embrace in the new program year.

Today the Senior Management Team (SMT) visited the USAID LPHS-EC Activity duty stations in Iganga and Bugiri cluster. The management team is conducting briefings to field teams on the current leadership transition for the USAID LPHS-EC Activity, brief on staff operations, performance, and welfare issues. The team has also conducted courtesy calls to the District Health Officers (DHOs) of Bugiri and Iganga District to strengthen working relationships with the districts.

Together with our Partners @KNUSTGH, yesterday we visited one of the hospital participating in the EIPHIV capacity building program in Ghana. The teams shared alot of amazing experiences as regards to the IPE training, thanks to our funders @StripeHiv, @IGHSatUCSF, @HRSAgov.
