@norswap A nice solution is to avoid relying on the RPC too much to manage nonces. We at @owlprotocol_xyz have been using the viem NonceManager from @latticexyz/common Only solution out there I found that doesn't rely on an API.

Is this even a debate? As a dev all the best tooling is standardized for EVM.

Respectfully this is false.

@arbitrum is just as cheap and fast as Solana in every meaningful way.

@0xPolygonLabs is insanely cheap and fast with more mature ecosystem. Plus has the single best vision for scaling in the space with their unified liquidity.

@base is cheap and fast and insanely easy to onboard via Coinbase.

@avax is insanely cheap and fast.

@solana isn’t some revolutionary jump forward.

We had fast and cheap chains last cycle.

BNB chain, Polygon, Avalanche…

And we also had Solana, lol.

The ONLY thing that has changed in recent weeks is price has gone up.

Nothing else.

So now the market is scrambling to find a narrative as to WHY.

Thats all.

To say somehow Solana’s UX is radically superior to everything out there is crazy.

Can someone name these mythical radical improvements that exist nowhere else?

Solana currently has no meaningful edge over other chains like Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, etc that I can see and I use all of them.

I started this off saying “respectfully” and I meant that. I meant this post as a respectful rebuttal.

We’re all here because we love the space.

Yet I feel it’s incorrect to state Solana is some revolutionary leap forward.

Cheap fees and fast speeds have been here for years.
