My 13-year-old YouTube history channel (@Panzerpicture) full of WW2 archive footage, tanks & veteran stories was suddenly deleted in February over **false** "sexual abuse-related content" claims.

No warning. No real appeal. Locked out ever since.

🚨 Day 54 of fighting for my archive

This isn’t a glitch.

YouTube’s AI has wiped out 13+ years of WWII tank archive footage and veteran stories. My entire channel is gone, and my account has been disabled 155,000 subscribers erased overnight.

People are now calling me a PDF file, because in their minds the channel “wasn’t deleted” even though you can clearly see that it was. https://t.co/zGctsW2Cph

That's the internet for you!
First, the channel was removed. Then, my entire account was disabled. YouTube support bots claiming it was a Google product trigger, doesn't make a lick of sense when the channel was deleted first!

The content that got flagged? Historical WWII footage. No nudity. No inappropriate intent. Just real history yet it was labeled as “child abuse material.” And I’m not the only one this has happened to. https://t.co/AkB8rNd6Tn

Si estás usando npm install, estás en peligro.

¡Así de crudo te lo cuento para que reacciones!

Ayer se comprometieron paquetes de TanStack en npm.
De las bibliotecas más usadas en el mundo JavaScript.

Y de ahí saltó a Mistral, OpenSearch, UiPath, PyPI...

Porque muchos ataques no necesitan que importes nada. Basta con una instalación para infectarte.

¿Cómo?
Colando scripts como preinstall o postinstall que se ejecutan durante la instalación.

Lo importante es que tiene solución:
① Usa pnpm 11
Viene con defensas por defecto contra este tipo de ataques.

② Si sigues usando pnpm 10, npm, yarn o bun
Activa minimumReleaseAge y ponle 1440.
Evita instalar versiones publicadas el mismo día.

③ Bloquea scripts de instalación por defecto
pnpm evita que cualquier dependencia ejecute código en tu máquina solo por instalarla.

Por favor, comparte esto para que le llegue al máximo número de personas y paremos la cadena de ataques.
