@BonezArtist “Fair enough.”
Adrianna pulled the flier from the board, then with a wave of her hand opened a multi-colored portal of Territory magic. The portal closed in around them, transporting the duo inside the museum where the theft had taken place.
“I suppose we should find the -
Going to the job board, she scanned the fliers for a moment.
“Take down a gang that’s been vandalizing government property, retrieve a stolen artifact for a museum, or VIP security escort in Crocus. Which one do you want?”
After making sure Tristan was taken care of, that left just one piece of business left for now. Teleporting herself straight to the Magic Council Headquarters, Adrianna marched straight up to the front desk.
“I need to speak with the Council Chairman right away,” she said, -
@PullingString “She’s about five miles from the Bosco border. As for the barrier... The pressure it creates feels like some sort of gravity magic. But it also seems to be a solid construct capable of maintaining her condition even in the freezing temperatures there. I couldn’t get close -
The first thing Adrianna saw when her eyes fluttered open was Zefio and his magic.
“What are you doing?” she murmured tiredly, though the answer would likely have been obvious had she given herself more time to wake up first.
@AkaruiSenshi Adrianna used to know the names of all of Black Phoenix’s mages. But of course, that was before she inexplicably vanished for over half a year.
She shook her head when Zefio thanked her. “Tristan’s brother had more to do with his survival than me. If not for him, neither of us -

@AkaruiSenshi She sat up and rubbed her head, which she expected to feel like it had been hit by a bowling ball. Surprisingly, it didn’t. And her limbs, which should have been aching and stiff, actually felt fine.
“Well, I certainly don’t feel like I just fought an eight-month war in the -
@PullingString magic pressure that makes it incredibly difficult to approach.”
With the summary of events given, she moved on to her reason for bringing this to the Chairman.
“I believe she’s far too dangerous to be left alone. But frankly, I don’t have a clue what can be done about the -
to impose since she wasn’t officially a member of the guild, but also too weak to carry herself anywhere else, Adrianna wenr back to the infirmary and laid down on one of the empty beds a few spaces away from Tristan. Not an ideal setup, but she’d made due with much worse before.
It had been the longest day of Adrianna’s life, both literally and figuratively. Adrenaline might have been the only thing that had given her the energy to do everything she’d done, but fatigue was finally catching up to her. Her eyes felt heavy and her limbs weak.
