A green day you didn’t plan isn’t a good day.
It’s a habit you’ve just rewarded.
Judge the day on whether you followed your rules. The money follows that, not the other way round.
Every figure on PropKoala comes from the prop firm’s own site, with the date we checked it.
If a firm doesn’t publish something, we say “not stated” instead of guessing.
How we check the data:

Three numbers to check before you buy any prop firm evaluation:
The drawdown type (end of day or intraday)
The total cost to get funded, activation fee included
When the first payout is actually allowed
The headline price is the least useful number on the page.
⏰ UK and Europe-based futures traders, heads up:
UK clocks go back this Sunday, US clocks don’t change until 1 November.
Next week the US open is at 1:30pm UK, not 2:30pm. Check your alarms and your news times. ⏰
Weekly jobless claims at 8:30am ET.
Usually a smaller mover, but it lands an hour before the open, so it can set the tone for the first trade of the day.
Know your plan before 8:30, not after.
Most traders who blow a funded account didn’t lose to a bad strategy.
They lost on one afternoon when they stopped following a good one.
Your rules are only as good as the day you’re tempted to break them.
Comparing prop firms on their sale price is how most people end up paying more.
A big discount on an evaluation with a $130 activation fee can still cost more than a firm with no activation fee at full price.

The payout buffer, explained:
Some funded accounts need your balance a set amount above the start before you can withdraw anything. On a 50K account that’s often around $2,000.
That profit stays in the account. It’s the firm’s cushion, not your first payout.
“Pass in 1 day” and “paid in 1 day” are different promises.
Some firms let you pass in a single session, then ask for 5 winning days, a profit buffer or a consistency rule before the first payout.
Check the funded rules before the evaluation rules.
15 minutes to the US open.
Before the first candle: know your setup, your size and your daily stop.
Decide those now. At 9:31 you’ll be deciding with your emotions.
Funded traders: can you hold trades through news with your prop firm, or do you have to be flat? Rules vary a lot between firms, and breaking one can cost you the account. Compare news rules side by side at https://t.co/qcG9Ytz3GJ
UK traders 🇬🇧: clocks go back this Sunday, but US clocks don’t change until Nov 1. For that one week, 8:30am ET data lands at 12:30pm UK, not 1:30pm, and the New York open is 1:30pm UK. The Fed decision on Oct 28 hits at 6pm UK. Update your alerts.
The Fed is in its quiet period until the Oct 28 rate decision, so no Fed speakers will move the market this week. Earnings will do the talking instead: Netflix Tuesday, then Tesla and Meta Wednesday, all after the close.
US open in 15 minutes. There’s no major data today, so expect a quieter start. Tomorrow at 8:30am ET we get Housing Starts and Building Permits. It’s medium impact, but check whether your prop firm restricts trading around it.
Key US news this week 👇
It’s a light week. Watch Jobless Claims Thursday at 8:30am ET and the Flash PMIs Friday at 9:45am ET. No jobs report or CPI this week. The Fed decides Wed, Oct 28.
Check your prop firm’s news rules before you trade them.
Big news day question:
Did you trade the 8:30 releases today, or sit out until things settled?
No wrong answer if it was in your plan. The wrong answer is deciding at 8:29.
Last day: Tradeify’s GEMS code (30% off all plans) ends tonight at 11:59pm ET.
If you were going to buy anyway, check the full cost to get funded first, not just the discount.
