@BirdGuides I have still yet to see any substantive evidence of their historical breeding presence in the UK. What ‘evidence’ that has been presented to support the case appears largely based on prejudgement and extrapolation rather than any convincing scientific analysis.
@carolvorders I never cease to be surprised how Tories seem to expect politicians from other parties to meet a higher standard of accountability than themselves - a classic deflection tactic supported by a partial news media.
@Vince_Evans1 @mrjamesob It’s simple really - she knows that there’s good money to be made spouting this BS and she’s happy to say whatever it takes to keep on being paid for it.
Beats spending time representing your constituents - a mugs game for her because they’ll still vote you in again regardless
@Redbear56Liz@sammwittings@PhilMyers53 Possibly just wants a media base that is not run as a loss leader by foreign-based owners/ corporate groups to promote their wider financial and political agenda?
@AuntyOof@BarbourJude In the wild, cat species occur at far lower densities than domestic cats in the UK & are not fed/ medicated by humans to ensure they live far longer than in the wild. There is nothing even remotely natural about the current situation and is testament to our disconnect with nature
@AmOrnith Have you really not got any thing better to waste time and resources on? Names that ironically gave far more identity to bird species than the anaemically dull & forgettable colour related non-names which are actually more confusing than useful.
@WorldFullofJunk@fionaharvey Surely you can understand that the planning system from which the very notion of enhanced land value is derived is political? Quite happy to derive the resultant artificially inflated land values on one hand but then resist any reduction due to changes in building standards?
@WorldFullofJunk@fionaharvey I entered a discussion and you respond with diatribe. All I am suggesting is that you think about what is being said and provide a considered/ constructive response. My comments were not political, merely talking about land valuation principles.
