I'm looking for 2–3 more 8th grade girls (guards) to complete our club basketball roster for the upcoming Fall/Winter season.

If you missed our first tryout, we have a makeup tryout on Monday, August 10.

With 25 years of coaching experience at the youth, high school, AAU, and semi-professional levels, I've had the privilege of helping many athletes earn opportunities to play college basketball at the Division I and other collegiate levels, while several have gone on to become All-Americans and even play professionally overseas.

My goal has always been about more than winning games. I believe in developing complete athletes by teaching:

I'm currently looking for dedicated, hardworking players who want the opportunity to compete on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit this upcoming Spring/Summer with Iowa Phenom.

As I head into my 26th year of coaching, one thing has never changed my passion for helping young girls grow through the game of basketball.

Right now, I'm looking for just a couple more 7th-8th grade girls to complete our @iaphenombball Basketball roster. With the new law it’s important to be coached by someone that is going to push and develop them to be ready to compete at the high school level right away.

I'd also love to build a 3rd-4th grade team. Those younger years are where everything starts. That's when players build confidence, develop the right habits, and learn the fundamentals that will carry them throughout their basketball journey.

When your daughter joins Iowa Phenom, she's getting much more than a basketball team. Our goal is to develop complete players and even better young women. We'll focus on proper shooting mechanics, ball handling, footwork, defense, spacing, communication, basketball IQ, and learning how to become a leader on and off the court.

Our players also experience a college-style practice environment where they're challenged, held accountable, encouraged to communicate, and expected to compete every day. I want every player to leave practice better than when they walked in not just as a basketball player, but as a teammate and person.

As we are transitioning to an Adidas sponsored girls program, Iowa Phenom provides opportunities to compete against some of the best competition in the Midwest and beyond on some of the biggest stages. We believe in developing players first, and that development creates opportunities.

I'm also excited to begin recruiting for our Spring/Summer high school Adidas teams. If you're a high school player looking to compete at a high level, gain exposure, have a coach that is going to walk you through the recruiting process and earn an opportunity to play on one of our Adidas rosters, I'd love to connect with you.

I'm not looking to fill jerseys I'm looking for families who value development, hard work, character, and being part of something bigger than themselves.

One of my biggest goals this season is to build a 3rd-4th grade girls team. This age is so important because it's where players begin to develop the habits that will stay with them throughout their basketball journey.
