At present, FA Youth Cup games involving non-elite clubs can’t be played during lockdown.

Clubs were informed of the news at 5am this morning, ahead of ties scheduled for tonight.

The FA Trophy & FA Vase are suspended.

The status of the FA Women’s Cup is still being discussed.

The FA & Department for Education have clarified rules for school football during lockdown:

🔹Children CAN continue to play football within school.

The Government has now said the following about football:

🔹’Elite Sport’ can continue.

🔹Amateur football must stop.

🔹Youth football clubs must stop.

🔹The men’s FA Cup can continue.

It’s highly likely that non-league Steps 3-6 will be stopped, we await FA confirmation.

BREAKING:

The Government has confirmed that the 10 'non-elite' clubs CAN play in the FA Cup this weekend.

The FA "remain in regular dialogue with the Government in relation to both men’s & women’s ‘non-elite’ football and will provide a further update on this in due course."

National League clubs received their first month's grant this morning.

Yesterday a letter, signed by 11 clubs, was sent to the League urging them to change how the funds are being distributed.

The National League Board will discuss the situation at a meeting on Thursday 5 Nov.
