From the campaign contributions made by top JHU officials to Mayor Pugh and Delegate McIntosh to JHU’s close ties to the MD general assembly--we need to revisit Maryland’s ethics.
The leadership in Annapolis has rigged the entire process of this bill and is willing to put the lives of black and brown students on campus at risk for their buddies at Hopkins and their marketing schemes. https://t.co/vLYUw8MoHp
It is no coincidence that prominent Hopkins lobbyist Tom Lewis, VP of Government and Community Affairs at JHU is the former COS to Speaker Busch and is married Victoria Gruber--former COS to Senate Pres. Mike Miller and the current ED of the Department of Legislative Services.

Yes, you'd think the decision to represent the student body in front of a group as controversial as AIPAC would involve quite an extensive process — consultations with student groups, maybe an SGA or University Senate vote. It's not a small decision!

Investment in anti-violence organizations and initiatives (NOT police) is what does that.
Think of your future endeavors @AntonioHayes40 @electcorymccray. How will your current and potential constituents feel when you run for re-election? Mayor? Senate? We are watching if you go with the major org and ignore the people. #noprivatepolice
At the Baltimore House delegation disrupting an undemocratic, rushed, & unjust denial of public will. We tried y’all— they did not listen. #NoPrivatePolice
