The Recycling Club put together a variety of activities to celebrate Earth Week at The Prout School. Today, the club sold t-shirts, notebooks, pottery, and more to raise money for the school’s garden. Students and staff also tried their hands at environmental-themed lawn games.

The mural is meant to “represent unity and racial equality within the school,” says class moderator and teacher Ryan Cox. Through the project, the class raised over $200 for the 134 Collaborative, a nonprofit in Providence.
Sophomore class officers—Treasurer Jesse Fitzelle-Jones, Vice President Eva Wibeto, Secretary Maya Madison & President Annie Demers—brought 47 students, staff, and faculty members together to make a mural outside the library.
Matthew Pari '21 competes on the field as part of the EWG/Prout co-op football team. Coach Cliff Fortin says, “Matthew works hard every day on becoming a better player and a better person. He is a force on the football field and other teams have to game plan for him.”
Congratulations to The Prout School's March/April Athletes of the Month: Ava Grace Dresback ‘24 and Matthew Pari ‘21. These two students are not only inspiring in their respective sports, but also in their attitudes.
Ava Grace '24 plays volleyball for the Crusaders. She has stepped into a starting role as an underclassman and serves as a strong addition to Prout athletics. “Ava Grace has provided the volleyball team with a spark since the beginning of the season,” says Coach Bevilacqua.

In honor of the Class of 2021, Prout Student Council organized a special Senior Send-Off Spirit Week for all grades. From costume contests, to the Amazing Race, students competed grade-versus-grade in activities each day from Wednesday through Friday. Congrats to the seniors!
