@DouglasRMcGuire@IGN Wasn’t going to sell well? After weapons was a blockbuster? You have very strong opinions on things you don’t seem to understand very well
@TheDougFiles I would’ve liked a small battle between them and have some back and forth tension-rise instead of an immediate chase but it was a pretty good sequence regardless especially practically
@Tyranophile He said something about how the nobody joke didn’t translate well to a script which considering plays is bs to me. It made the Poseidon relation very awkward and indirect to me. I still liked the film technically but dialog and characters are so sidestepped in Nolan projects
@beastm0der When they revealed he was coming back I was expecting the worst so it was a pleasant surprise to see his character actually treated with the proper gravity of being awakened after death instead of being the wannabe marvel-quip machine
@ichbd22_@buddygats My problem is that there’s already so much customization through in-world gear that I think it’s a foolish choice to have powerful abilities like vandal arm cannon around the map. It took you 3 replies to go “I want them as map loot abilities” instead of forming your argument
@ichbd22_@buddygats My question is pretty clearly phrased how do you have abilities in this game otherwise? Do you want no equipment/abilities? The combat system of this game is pretty essentially shaped by it
@ichbd22_@buddygats What player agency? Are you suggesting that passives like destroyer jets or thief drone should be map items like Warzone? Just don’t see how else you do this system to have these abilities that make combat so dynamic
@hehe_poster@escapefrommelos Just saying what I heard on the street, which is why it was in quotes. Because I actually live here and around the various hobos, unlike you.
@jamesstrather@escapefrommelos I get the ideas, I don’t mess with the methhead hobos where I live. Byron is actually chill tho he’s a legit exception to the rule if you live in Charleston
@LoyalistPa@escapefrommelos He seems to eke out a living for around 35 years now doing this so I guess he’s happy reaping the freedom and handouts of the street over a job. Very smart well adjusted guy it is weird.
@__wabes@escapefrommelos I don’t like hobos by any means (Charleston continues to be gentrified thank God) but he’s actually completely chill. Also “third-worlders” to an American black guy demonstrates chronically-online understanding of the South lolol
@escapefrommelos Update: ran into bro today out for the 4th, he was out chilling with his wife. I get the perception with shit like Charlotte’s issues but he’s actually a city staple for decades he’s safe
@escapefrommelos I’m a local this guy’s fine, he usually asks men then asks for money afterwards. I don’t get them anymore bc he reeks but he’s making a shitty living w it and doesn’t get crazy or anything, cops are chill w him and they’re pretty on top of the shitty ones around the city
@AlexStepherylh@escapefrommelos They can go to North Charleston and get carjacked for that the peninsula has been becoming wannabe manhattan w actual law enforcement for a while now bc tourism/real estate has been going insane down here
