Absolutely wild that Sebastien Ogier is a strong contender for #WRCLive champion this year, despite not even having driven in 3 of the rallies so far this year...
How about "trying literally anything to reform your country so it's not a totalitarian, ultraviolent clusterfuck nightmare"? Has anyone suggested that?
We had a Ukrainian mom & daughter live with us for 6 months after the war had been going on for a bit. When her dad finally came to Canada, I drove them to Ottawa to meet him. I hadn't stopped the car before she jumped out to jump him. I think about that a lot. What a moment.
Dear @promarksticks - I sort of expect the nylon tips to be a little more durable on your otherwise excellent (and correspondingly expensive) 747 attack sticks so that I don't lose tops pretty much every show.
Thanks.
Career update - in a couple of weeks I'll be leaving my general practice firm and taking a full-time Duty Counsel job with Legal Aid Ontario. It'll be a busy few months getting my feet under me, but I'm very much looking forward to it! #LawTwitter
@Roach22pr@JesseBlake The outcome was nastier in terms of visuals and blood, etc. Boiled down, they're the same hit - direct head contact, obvious targeting, etc. Reaves didn't leave his feet.
You're honestly telling me one was five games and the other was *clean*? Come on.
So, weโll ask again, if Trumpโs support in 2024 is ALL about economic anxiety, why doesnโt his support amongst Black voters - the MOST economically disadvantaged group - look more like everyone else???
People keep telling me that the right way forward is to actually converse with those obsessed with Trudeau and full of directionless, confused, ignorant rage, but it always ends the same - they can't back up anything they say, and they just get angrier and stupider. Wild.
@johnnydigs@GenXCanada@ElizabethG10410 @RosieRocks29 @acoyne People keep telling me that the way forward is to actually discuss the issues with people like you, but no matter what I try to do, it always ends the same.
I hope you don't have children.
"I can't believe people base their decisions to associate with me or not on whether we have any common beliefs or values! All I did was vote for an objectively terrible rapist, cheat, extortionist and probable pedophile! I didn't do this when they voted for a regular politician!"
@johnnydigs@GenXCanada@ElizabethG10410 @RosieRocks29 @acoyne Do you actually have the decision where they say anything remotely like "they have a really strong case here, and a law was probably broken, but it doesn't matter", like you claim they did? I've explained why courts rule things moot - back up your claims if you can.
@johnnydigs Funny how you guys are always the first to boil down an actual discussion to something like "low IQ!", and it's almost always after being asked to actually support your points with, you know, evidence of any kind. Strange.
@johnnydigs@GenXCanada@ElizabethG10410 @RosieRocks29 @acoyne A court ruling something moot almost never involves an actual discussion of the merits (or lack thereof) of any individual question. Saying the point is moot is specifically why the court is *NOT* making a judgment on the topic. Show me the decision if they did otherwise, though.
