@lookslikeyuyu@denkmit Although, of course, it is a welcome change with stricter penalties. I'm all for it. This should've already been implemented ever since the Espargaro vs Morbidelli slap incident tbh. But yeah, MotoGP stewarding isn't really the best in the business unfortunately.
@lookslikeyuyu@denkmit But, I do have to admit, the reason I raised the question of it being too harsh is because other riders have done this in the past and have gotten away only with fines (relatively small ones for these guys too), so I don't 100% understand why this is different
@lookslikeyuyu@denkmit I think your point is good when you said we're trying to make motorsport more inclusive. Honestly, I have no issues with the penalty. I can see why it's justified, especially cause this is his second offense with a marshall in 4 years (2022 incident).
@lookslikeyuyu@denkmit Hi, not justifying him at all. Just wondering if a punishment like FIA and Verstappen community service thing would be more suitable cause unfortunately these guys do act stupid when racing. E.g. Martin, A. Espargaro, etc.
Also love that you're a marshall. Thanks for all you do!
@ChrisDSmyth@denkmit Just to be clear, not defending him. What he did was wrong, but I'm just curious to know if any other punishments (like FIA and Verstappen community service thing) would be more suitable, because again people do stupid things under the heat of the moment. Got your point tho.
@matoxley Are you going to continue doing an exposition into Sepang 2015 too? Or the fallout from the kick? Would love to hear your and Peter's stories from that time.
Most front wheel in @MotoGP have 2 tire sensors; 1 for FIM controle and 1 for themselves. Having 2 valves make it also possible to 'wash' the tire and have more 'dry air' in it, which pressure rises less with temperature. @matoxley
@denkmit Case in point:
Modern day F1 fans (and its drivers) are toxic af, MM93 fans are very toxic, and TR54 fans want to mob you if you don't see him as a god basically. Would love to hear your take on this.
@denkmit Isn't this literally every fanbase though? Toprak's was like this too. Isn't it always the more popular a racer/series becomes, the more casual viewer arrives to support them/it and these viewers don't care about the actual essence of the sport, but rather to only how they feel?
@vkhorounzhiy@denkmit just heard The Race MotoGP pod (which was hilarious). My prayer now is that MV wins on the KTM, leaves, makes it his personal mission to win with 5 manufacturers and hops on a Ducati to do it. 🤞
