This AI just exposed the BIGGEST legal insider trading operation in America.
A platform called GovGreed built a seven-layer machine learning system that cross-references every stock trade disclosed by every sitting politician against the bills their committees control, the campaign donations they receive, and the companies their votes directly impact.
It scored all 540 politicians currently in Congress. And the numbers are crazy:
56% of every stock purchase made by Congress in the last 16 months was on a stock directly affected by a bill the buyer later voted on. That is 6,170 out of 11,016 total purchases.
More than HALF of all congressional stock buys are on companies whose fate that same politician is about to decide.
343 of 540 Congress members actively trade stocks while holding access to nonpublic legislative information.
That is 63.8% of the entire legislature making market bets with an informational edge that would put any hedge fund manager in prison.
The AI identified 752 active "Triple Signals" in the current Congress. A Triple Signal fires when three conditions line up at once:
The politician sits on the committee controlling a bill, they traded stock in a company affected by that bill, AND they received campaign contributions from that same industry.
Bills carrying these insider indicators pass at 5.4 TIMES the normal rate.
Now look at the individual leaderboard:
- Nancy Pelosi's estimated portfolio sits at $194 million with a Greediness score of 98.1 out of 100
- Ro Khanna made 13,231 trades across 800+ different tickers
- Michael McCaul made 32,302 trades and filed 6,670 of them late
- Thomas Suozzi filed 86.4% of his trades late with an average delay of 396 days, meaning his disclosures landed over a YEAR after he made the trade
And then there is Lisa McClain, the fourth-ranking Republican in the House. She has made 1,443 trades in three years, more than 98% of all politicians tracked.
She violated the STOCK Act twice in a single year, disclosing up to $900,000 in trades months after the legal deadline. Her husband bought up to $250,000 in Elon Musk's xAI, which quietly converted into SpaceX equity before last Friday's $2 trillion IPO.
The penalty for all of this? A $200 fine.
The number of Congress members ever prosecuted under the STOCK Act since it passed in 2012? Zero.
And the cruelest part is this:
A bill to ban congressional stock trading was introduced in January 2026. It has bipartisan support. Over 80% of American voters want it passed.
But Congress is sitting on it, because the people who would have to vote yes are the same people making millions from the system staying exactly the way it is.
They write the insider trading laws, they exempt themselves from enforcement, they trade on the information those laws generate, and when they get caught, they pay a fine that is basically nothing.
The AI didn't discover anything Congress was hiding. It just organized what was already public into a pattern so obvious that nobody can pretend it isn't there anymore.
If you can’t budget $174K to feed your family while also having the best healthcare insurance in the country you have no business setting the budget for our country
It’s easy to say crime is down when you simply stop responding to crimes. Every day, 45,000 vagrants commit arson, theft, drug crimes, animal abuse, and sex offenses in full public view, and they go completely ignored by this failed Mayor, and she has the audacity to say “crime is down”? She thinks you’re dumb.
“WE NEED TO LET THEM DO INSIDER TRADING TO FEED THEIR FAMILIES.”
Congress makes $174k.
Median income is about $63k.
Minimum wage is $7.25.
If your “public servant” needs Wall Street crime to survive, that’s not a government, that’s a cartel.
Welcome to neo-feudalism. You’re the peasant, they’re the aristocracy.
I love to BBQ. My kids love it. If any elected official in LA wants to ban backyard BBQ’ing because of “fire safety” reasons but says zero about the illegal dangerous public fires, illegal encampments or electrical theft happening everyday in our communities, that elected official really hasn’t a clue about public safety or our LA culture in general.
So it’s ok for homeless people to poop on your sidewalk. For people to loot up to $950. And for there to be heroin needles where you walk.
But we cross the line and BBQ in the backyard of a persons private property.
Nithya is dumber than Bass. Surprising.
Adam Carolla points out a glaring mathematical reality that Los Angeles leadership seems to ignore: Democrats have held the Mayor’s office exclusively for over two decades. From James Hahn and Antonio Villaraigosa to Eric Garcetti and now Karen Bass, the city has been under the total control of a single party since 2001. Adam’s argument is simple: if you’ve had the steering wheel for twenty-five years and the city has become a "shit hole" you’ve lost the right to point fingers at anyone else. You aren't just part of the system; you are the system.
The president of the United States just said and I quote “I don’t think about Americans financial situation. I don’t think about anyone”
Yeah, we fucking noticed
It’s crazy how simple Spencer Pratt’s campaign is because of how failed of a city LA has become:
“I’ll enforce the law!”
“I’ll stop the dog abuse by drug addicts!”
“I’ll actually prepare for wildfires!”
Even crazier many voters will see that and say, “No, thanks.”
You know what really bugs me these days? We can't own anything anymore. Everything is a subscription. Adobe, Notion, Spotify. You don't just buy things once, you keep paying every month. You literally have to pay for everything forever. Isn't anyone else bothered by this?
Only 34 homes rebuilt while hundreds sit waiting—that’s not complexity, that’s a failure of leadership. When you elect people who don’t know how to run anything, you get delay, dysfunction, and decline. If you’re going to lead a city or a state, you have to know how to execute and deliver results.
So the DOJ is arresting a US military member for trading on Polymarket before we get a single Epstein arrest, a single Somalian daycare fraudster arrest or a single Congressional insider trading arrest?
Seriously I’m so tired of this bullshit.
Los Angeles is the most dynamic city in America.
One on hand-
We have the dodgers.
A baseball team so good, so well run, it should be illegal.
We have the lakers who somehow got the best player in the league for a SONG.
We have playoff teams in the Rams and the Kings.
But to balance all this out-
We get the worst local government in North America.
While the rest of the country is making meaningful steps to end homelessness- we are giving them needles and drugs to test on dogs
While Austin builds apartments, our mayor burned down two great neighborhoods.
Schools are unfilled and kids can’t read.
Hollywood, the industry that built this city, won’t even film here anymore.
But-
The weather is great.
And how about them dodgers?
California residents pay about 11% more for groceries, 40% more for gas and 61% more for utilities than the national average, according to the report. https://t.co/jQj3fDNkU6
