@grok@KonsakiDagna@ChopKing_dfc@MagneticNorse@grok the man in the red/orange shirt is John Reilly III, a New York Highway Superintendent in Orange County, who has been indicted on attempted murder, assault, and weapons charges.
@CoachPapaJohn Testing found an enzyme deficiency after his rookie year. Couldn't break down protein in his food. After that he was able to start putting on some muscle.

@StarNav36X9@SGTWipper1Each Pretty weird that the NTSB report says "initial Federal Aviation Administration postaccident examination revealed that the overrunning clutch and engine-to-transmission driveshaft were fractured."

@GunFactchecks@MorosKostas Depends on the platformโon the Mac, it's just an easy option-shift-dash. On mobile, you can just long press the dash to bring it up.
And since AI is 'trained on' human writing, it's clear that people use it.

I wonder if it's reaching the point where things that are out of player or trainer control like the ways that tendons, ligaments, or muscles attach to bones is coming into play.
Plus bad luck.

I don't watch much sports anymore, but seeing a few games now and then:
1) dudes are reaching 'peak human performance' levels
2) pads, pfft
3) those 2 + high speed violent collisions
4) why wouldn't they break?
@MikerophoneNFL Doesnโt help that commentators are often โoh yeah, thatโs crystal clear, the play will stand/not-stand,โ then NY comes back.
And then the announcing crew always pivots to, โgreat call, great call, they got that right like always.โ
@MikerophoneNFL Iโve been thinking for awhile that super-HD, ultra slow-motion replay on everything is just awful.
Football, is it a catch or a safety or blah blah?
Baseball, oh runnerโs out because we can clearly see in the 15th angle that the ball arrived 4 milliseconds before them, etc
@michaelstephenf Nice! Doing the same for my second novel right now.
Family is included as well. Of course, now I'm hearing, "we have to read the first parts we already read, again?"
YES
@BaronDestructo@Mo_Porkburger On the one hand, thatโs disappointing.
On the other hand, hopefully weโll still see it someday.
And on the gripping hand, it frees you up for Stargate: Redux! :)
@NaviGoBoom@Spyk3O Did they get the picture via a post on social media? Because posting on Twitter/X grants a broad license to both them and whoever they sublicense it to. The TOS spells it out.
@Emoryguy@patrickdemarre@RossDellenger@YahooSports "A 10-year show-cause order, restricting him from all athletically related activities during the show-cause period, which will begin on Aug. 7, 2028, at the conclusion of his four-year show-cause order from a previous case."
@CoraCHarrington@colleen_daves Had a website I've been visiting since 2003 that went live in '99, shut down this spring. Still had a lively forum running but the owner finally shut it down.
Then again, the college I attended is also shutting down after 100+ years. ยฏ\_(ใ)_/ยฏ
@CoraCHarrington@colleen_daves Age is an issue as well. The 45 year old doing their Geocities blog in 1998 on a specific niche of [insert anything at all] is now 72...
Throw in a migration to Wordpress along the way, maybe a hack exploiting an outdated plugin...
