It has now been around 1,100 days since my father, Imran Khan, was imprisoned, and my brother and I haven’t heard his voice since March. For months, we’ve been denied contact with him. We remain in the dark about his access to healthcare as his eyesight continues to deteriorate. He urgently needs medical attention, and with no family or legal access, we don’t even get any second hand information or reassurance.

I’ve found myself especially missing him recently. I want to speak to him about mundane things like my cricket, books I’ve been reading and what new movies are good. I understand the people of Pakistan want their chosen leader free, but I miss my father more than ever.

But this is not just about a father. It is about Pakistan, and its future. A rigged, authoritarian regime continues to crush political opposition, undermine democratic institutions, and deny millions of Pakistanis their right to freely choose their leaders, whilst terrorising those who speak their beliefs.

I once again plea to the international community to not look away. Silence in the face of injustice only enables it.

A special dua will be offered after the Asr prayer. We request prayers for the safety of Imran Khan, for all prisoners, for the Shuhada, and for those who are currently under trial.

My father has been under arrest for 845 days. For the past six weeks, he has been kept in solitary confinement in a death cell with zero transparency. His sisters have been denied every visit, even with clear court orders allowing access. There have been no phone calls, no meetings and no proof of life. Me and my brother have had no contact with our father.

This absolute blackout is not a security protocol. It is a deliberate attempt to hide his condition and prevent our family from knowing whether he is safe.

Let it be clear: the Pakistani government and its handlers will be held fully accountable legally, morally and internationally for my father’s safety and for every consequence of this inhumane isolation.

I call on the international community, global human rights organisations and every democratic voice to intervene urgently. Demand proof of life, enforce court ordered access, end this inhumane isolation and call for the release of Pakistan’s most popular political leader who is being held solely for political reasons.

People keep asking us about his health and safety, but the truth is, we have no access to anyone who can give us verified information. The media may quote “official statements” from jail authorities, but we do not trust a single word from them. The solution is simple….. follow court orders and allow his family, his lawyers, and his party leadership to meet him. The only reason we beleive him to be safe is because the authorities would not dare to hurt even a hair on Imran Khan’s head. They are well aware of the consequences of any such stupidity. He is the leader of at least 90 percent of Pakistan. They should definately fear the wrath of the Pakistani nation.

Our family and legal team last met him on 16th October, on the final day of his and Bushra Bibi’s jail trial. Since then, only our sister Dr Uzma Khan has been allowed to see him twice for barely 20 minutes each, on 28th October and 4th November, and only because we held protests and sit-ins outside Adiala. The last people to meet Imran Khan were Dr Uzma and Bushra Bibi’s daughter on 4th November. Since that day, we have been completely cut off, no family, no lawyers, and no party members have been allowed any access whatsoever.

Nine days ago, we were told that no one would be allowed to meet Imran Khan until Asim Munir receives his extension notification. We still cannot understand what our legal and constitutional right to meet our brother has to do with someone’s extension. Why is a family’s access being tied to government’s servant extension?

میرے والد کو گرفتار ہوئے 845 دن ہو چکے ہیں۔ پچھلے چھ ہفتوں سے انہیں مکمل بے خبری کے ماحول میں ڈیتھ سیل میں تنہا رکھا گیا ہے۔ ان کی بہنوں کو ہر ملاقات سے روک دیا گیا ہے حالانکہ عدالت کے واضح احکامات موجود ہیں۔ کوئی فون کال نہیں، کوئی ملاقات نہیں اور زندگی کی کوئی خبر نہیں۔ میں اور میرا بھائی اپنے ��الد سے کسی قسم کا رابطہ نہیں کر سکے۔

یہ مکمل اندھیرا کسی حفاظتی پروٹوکول کا حصہ نہیں۔ یہ ایک جان بوجھ کر کی گئی کوشش ہے تاکہ ان کی حالت کو چھپایا جائے اور ہمارے خاندان کو یہ نہ معلوم ہو سکے کہ وہ محفوظ ہیں یا نہیں۔

واضح رہے کہ پاکستانی حکومت اور اس کے آقاؤں کو میرے والد کی حفاظت اور اس غیر انسانی تنہائی کے ہر نتیجے کی قانونی، اخلاقی اور بین الاقوامی سطح پر مکمل ذمہ داری اٹھانا ہوگی۔

میں عالمی برادری، بین الاقوامی انسانی حقوق کی تنظیموں اور ہر جمہوری آواز سے اپیل کرتا ہوں کہ فوری مداخلت کریں۔ زندگی کی تصدیق کا مطالبہ کریں، عدالت کے احکامات کے مطابق رسائی یقینی بنائیں، اس غیر انسانی تنہائی کو ختم کریں اور پاکستان کے سب سے مقبول سیاسی رہنما کی رہائی کا مطالبہ کریں جنہیں صرف سیاسی وجوہات کی بنا پر قید رکھا گیا ہے۔

میں گزشتہ دو سال میں ہونے والے قتلِ عام کے چار بڑے واقعات جن میں 9 مئی، 26 نومبر، آزاد کشمیر اور مریدکے ��تلِ عام شامل ہیں، پر جوڈیشل کمیشن کے قیام کا مطالبہ دہراتا ہوں۔ ان تمام واقعات میں بڑی تعداد میں نہتے شہریوں کو شہید کیا گیا۔

9 مئی فالس فلیگ کے حوالے سے میرا شروع سے یہی موقف ہے کہ واقعے کی سی سی ٹی وی فوٹیج پیش کی جائے اور آزادانہ و شفاف تحقیقات کے لیے جوڈیشل کمیشن قائم کیا جائے۔ جس پر افسوس ہے کہ کوئی عملدرآمد نہیں ہوا بلکہ الٹا متاثرہ فریق کیخلاف ہی جھوٹے مقدمات بنا کر بغیر شفاف تحقیقات اور ثبوت کے ملٹری کورٹس اور کینگرو کورٹس سے 10، 10 سال قید کی سزائیں سنائی گئیں۔ حالانکہ اس دن نہتے شہریوں اور سپورٹرز کو گولیوں کا نشانہ بنایا گیا-

قتلِ عام کی یہی واردات 26 نو��بر کو دہرائی گئی جب نہتے پرامن مظاہرین پر سیدھی گولیاں برسائی گئیں۔ اگر 9 مئی کے حقائق سامنے آجاتے تو 26 نومبر اور اس جیسے واقعات نا ہوتے۔ پھر آزاد کشمیر اور اب مریدکے میں مظاہرین کو ریاستی بربریت کا نشانہ بنایا گیا۔ ان واقعات کی آزادانہ تحقیقات کیلئے جوڈیشل کمیشن کا قیام ناگزیر ہے تاکہ مظلوموں کو انصاف مل سکے اور قتلِ عام کے ذمہ داران کو قرار واقعی سزا دی جائے۔

اگر اب کی بار نہتے شہریوں کے قتلِ عام پر جوڈیشل کمیشن بنا کر شفاف تحقیقات نہ کی گئیں تو خدانخواستہ اگلا واقعہ اس سے بھی بڑا ہوگا کیونکہ ظلم و بربریت میں مسلسل اضافہ ہو رہا ہے۔

نماز جمعہ کے بعد خیبرپختونخوا میں ہمارے تمام کارکنان اور عوام مریدکے قتلِ عام کیخلاف نکلیں اور چاروں واقعات کے جوڈیشل کمیشن کے قیام کا مطالبہ کریں۔

آج ملک میں سب کچھ عاصم لاء کے تحت ہو رہا ہے- ساری عدالتیں فوجی عدالتوں میں بدل چکی ہیں، جیسے فوجی عدالتوں کو چلایا جاتا ہے ویسے ہی عام عدالتوں کو بھی چلایا جا رہا ہے۔

26ویں غیر آئینی ترمیم کے بعد عدالتوں سے انصاف کی توقع تقریباً ختم ہو چکی ہے۔ ملک میں بڑھتی لاقانونیت اور ناانصافی اسی ترمیم کا نتیجہ ہے- جسٹس قاضی فائز عیسیٰ، جسٹس امین الدین، جج عامر فاروق، اور جج ڈوگر سب کے پاس ہمارے کیسز اور پٹیشن گئیں مگر کہیں سے انصاف نہیں ملا۔

عاصم منیر، قاضی فائز عیسٰی اور سکندر سلطان راجہ نے ہمارا مینڈیٹ چوری کر کے فارم 47 کی نااہل اور ناجائز حکومت پاکستان پر مسلط کی جن کے پاس پاکستان کو درپیش مسائل سے نکالنے کا نہ ہی کوئی وژن ہے، نہ اہلیت ہے اور نہ ہی کوئی اختیار۔ ان کی دہشتگردی کے مسئلے، امن کے قیام اور دیگر ممالک کے ساتھ تعلقات کے حوالے سے بھی اپنی کوئی سوچ اور پالیسی نہیں ہے-

تاریخ سے ثابت ہے کہ ملٹری ڈکٹیٹرز کا صرف بندوق کے زور پر ہر چیز کا حل نکالنے کا فارمولہ کبھی دیرپا اور کامیاب ثابت نہیں ہوا۔ افغانستان کے ساتھ مسئلے کا حل فوجی نہیں سیاسی ہے۔ لہذا یہ سیاستدانوں کی ذمہ داری ہے کہ وہ معاملہ فہمی سے ملک میں دیرپا امن کا قیام یقینی بنائیں۔ فارم 47 کی جعلی حکومت کا نہ ہی استحقاق ہے اور نہ اہلیت کہ وہ قیامِ امن میں مؤثر کردار ادا کرسکے۔ ہمارے دور میں دہشتگردی کم ترین سطح پر آ گئی تھی۔ مجھے پیرول پر رہا کیا جائے تو میں افغانستان سے تنازعات کے حل اور قیامِ امن کیلئے اپنا کردار ادا کرسکتا ہوں”

Today's Supreme Court decision—establishing the ECP’s bias and malafide against PTI —reinforces our stance. We demand criminal proceedings under Article 6 of the Constitution against all those responsible for disenfranchising millions of voters and supporters of Pakistan’s largest political party.

Sikandar Sultan Raja and the ECP members must resign immediately!
