12. All the PSLs, together at the Wellcome Trust.
Prepped for the big Expo, presenting a new way of telling science stories, with authenticity, style, and heart.

11. Weeks in the edit suite, crafting videos from the footage streaming in from labs worldwide.
Then the PSLs returned home to London just in time for a special visit to the Wellcome Trust… where signs hinted people were expecting them.

10. Dan coordinated 7 PSLs from the UK… and after a week, the footage started rolling in.
Smiling teams. Busy labs. Incredible science.
The PSLs were officially out in the world.

9. Before sunrise, Jonathan Castro left Oxfordshire with half of the PSL fleet, waved off by Dan & Giulia.
Packed into custom carriers, the kits made it safely to FedEx… and then into the world.
A big moment for an epic journey.

8. The fleet is finished.
14 Portable Story Labs, lined up and looking incredible, built by an exhausted but laughing team who cranked day and night to make it happen.

7. Hundreds of packages. A kitchen-turned-factory.
Dan, Castro, and Astro unpack parts for a whole fleet of PSLs, turning Oxfordshire into production HQ.

6. The first PSL returned home.
Dan, Castro & Giulia watched the footage... stunning, human, beyond expectations.
Then Regina Dugan called. Perfect timing.

The Francis Crick team returned the PSL case with big smiles.
We were so pleased they’d enjoyed the experience!
Back home at the Barbican, we opened the case - and found a surprise.

3. Prototype in hand. First stop: the Francis Crick Institute.
