@petersterne@elivalentinNY@CityAndStateNY Sad that Latinos must have the DSA imprimatur to advance now. So dismissive of Reynoso. I worked with him years ago as he partnered with Luis Garden Acosta and Juan Gonzalez on a public school issue in Los Sures. Now DSA says he’s just an opportunist. https://t.co/c6BwnsHRef
I don’t know how people don’t view Reynoso deciding to finally speak about Gaza for the first time when he launched his campaign as anything but pure opportunism. His record is clear though, he abstained on an anti bds bill in the council back in 2016
@kareemisposting He spent his whole like working for the people in that district. How could he possibly be an opportunist? Because only one issue, Gaza, matters?
“It’s not the politics of the past if you’re tearing down the person who is running against Trump, who lost to Trump, while we’re actually living in the politics of Trump present.”
“As the digital generation comes of age, the typical baggage is being replaced by a lifetime of tweets and TikToks that are proving to be their own problem.”

@sciaticus_finch@wideofthepost@AsadFromNYC That’s the argument. At least you understand it. By the way, I was a very early donor to Jamaal because he was so important on k-12 education. He threw that away to focus on Gaza and lost much support.
@ComeOnJuice@wideofthepost@AsadFromNYC What else do you expect from DSA except ad hominem attacks and refusal to defend the garbage they tweeted last year.
@JerpaDerpa@wideofthepost@AsadFromNYC Again, the point she made was quite simple: members of Congress should not endorse against incumbent members of their own party.
@RossBarkan@ElvinBen He did promote charter schools but he also implemented safeguards on military recruiting in our schools. He’s a moderate with views that align pretty closely with most parents. There’s not much love for the UFT.
