I hope this here is true. I just hope they add cybernetic customization, and up weapons and skills, and maybe combine that some weapons can only be used with some skills or cybernetics. Also, co-op would be sweet

- Described as Chicago Gone Wrong
- Built on Unreal Engine 5 to capture that open world experience, but could eventually switch over to UE6
- AI has taken over the world causing the city to become this nightmarish town
- V and Johnny Silverhand returning (Phantom Liberty Ending is canon)
- Improved Visuals
- New Vehicles, Weapons and Skills
- Option to switch to Third Person
- Will introduce a Multiplayer Mode
- Smarter AI
- Game release date is set for 2030
- Current Gen Only, Skipping Last Gen
- Pre-production under codename Cyberpunk Orion

This is why I will always defend the existence of fiction no matter how gross, taboo, and weird it is.

Fiction is fiction and once you start moralizing drawings, writing, and mere ideas... that process metastisize into the cancer that is censorship.

We've already seen it.

1990's moral panic, to the 2000's simmering in academia, and the the rise of gamergate and woke 1.0... a full fleged policing of language.

A lot of people didn't notice it because just like a frog in a pot, if it's slow enough it's doesn't feel too crazy. Just look at some of the more 'offensive' movies in the 1990s and 2000's. None of that can be made today because of censorship and the shifting of the Overton window towards excessive safetyism.

Compelled speech in various countries and people going to jail for saying the wrong things. Those branches all come from the same roots.
