The first game of this year’s #MLB4 tourney was also the first college start for @calpolystangs pitcher Taylor Dollard (@T_Dollard). It sure didn’t look like it.

The 20-year-old righty struck out 10 over 7 innings to lead a 2-hit shutout vs. @UConnBSB, as the Mustangs won, 5-0.

H.S. Coaches. If 80% of your team has shin splints you should realize that Cross Country practice is not the way to approach Pre-Season for BASEBALL games. Also, if you tell everyone you only have Big League coaches you should prob not leave this up to the only coach not MLB 👍🏻

@CoachJeffLeach As a father who lost a daughter I can unfortunately say firsthand I know exactly what you are going through. Hardest thing to do in a time like this is trust God's plan. Although he only gives us that which he thinks we can handle....the choice to handle it is still ours!
