By the way for anyone who doesn’t know I am more of a dog person, never had a cat and never had to take care of one. I knew they were different from dogs but didn’t realize how they are completely different from dogs

Day 2 & 3 of owning a cat:

Was told she was not a lap cat but has laid her head on my lap for pets
Gets annoyed when I don’t give her attention and when I give her too much attention.
Meows hello when I take a shower
Is she broken or are all cats like this?

It’s been day one since taking care of a cat, I was told she will scream for attention. We haven’t gotten there yet but she has gotten louder for that attention
