The Chinese are used to dealing with corrupt Pakistani generals, tribal chieftains and feudal lords. The Pakistani kleptocracy can be bribed to generate profits many times over, extract mineral wealth, and lock a country into a debt trap while avoiding accountability. That approach, it seems, did not work in Afghanistan.

آپ ہی سوچیئے کیا کوئی آج تک مڈل کلاس والے کو کتنی عزت ملی ہے یا اس کو مروا دیا جاتا ہے یا حالات ایسے پیدا کر دیے جاتے ہیں وہ خود سیاست چھوڑ کر چلا جاتا ہے ۔

World-renowned Irish artist Sinéad O’Connor converted to Islam in 2018 and adopted the name Shuhada. She said that studying sacred texts had led her to Islam and openly shared her spiritual transformation with the public. In the following years, she used the name Shuhada Sadaqat and lived proudly as a Muslim.

After she passed away in 2023, an Islamic funeral ceremony was held and the funeral prayer was performed.

May Allah have mercy on Sinéad O’Connor (Shuhada Sadaqat). May our Lord open our hearts to guidance, strengthen our faith, keep us steadfast upon the truth, and grant us the blessing of departing this world with faith. Ameen.

Israeli forces issued at least five displacement orders across Gaza on Tuesday morning, in Bureij and Nuseirat refugee camps in central Gaza, Shati refugee camp in western Gaza City, and near Al-Shifa Hospital.

Umm Ahmad Habboush, a displaced mother of eight, told Drop Site’s Abdel Qader Sabbah she was inside her tent with her children when they suddenly learned their entire block near Al-Shifa had been ordered to evacuate.

“There wasn’t even a second to spare. I told the children, ‘Come on.’ I started gathering them without even thinking,” she said. “We fled with our lives.”

Israeli forces subsequently struck a residential building near Al-Shifa Medical Complex with three missiles, in an area crowded with displaced families.

The threat also forced the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate to evacuate its nearby journalists’ tent as a precaution.

“The bombing was close to the Syndicate’s tent,” its secretary, Ahed Farawna, said. “The occupation is escalating day after day and expanding the scope of displacement orders, which are causing widespread displacement and disasters.”

On Tuesday, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian child by gunfire in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, while an Israeli airstrike on a home in southern Khan Younis wounded two Palestinians.
