Tukwila City Council approves homeless camping ban. The new ordinance makes it illegal to camp on city-owned property, including parks, sidewalks, rights-of-way and environmentally sensitive areas. Violators could face up to 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.

FAIRVIEW, Ore. A man drowned while fishing in the Columbia River near Fairview today.
According to the Multnomah County Sheriff’s at Chinook Landing Marine Park. At 3:11 p.m., deputies got a 911 call saying the man had gone underwater and had not resurfaced.
Roughly three hours later, around 6:10 p.m., the MCSO dive team recovered the man's body from the beach near the western edge of the park.
