The funniest thing about the whole stadium debacle is all the browns football bros suddenly becoming urban planning and development experts. Like stay in your lane and report ok whatever 3rd string corner the browns signed or whatever you do.
Chris Ronayne trying to stop the Brook Park move after the $600M has already been secured is a waste of energy. The stadium’s off the lake. Focus on turning the lakefront into something Cleveland can be proud of. You serve Cuyahoga County, where the stadium will be. Do your job.
On Monday, @LakewoodOhio City Council voted to adopt the Madison Park Master Plan, and the final document is posted on our site. Many thanks to everyone who provided input into the planning process.

🧵We scoured publicly available data to determine the cumulative toll traffic crashes have on people walking and biking in the City of Cleveland. Data for 2023 indicates that an astonishing 550 people reported being hit by motor vehicles while biking or walking in our city.
Parking is often a concern for new development, but we wanted to provide some concrete numbers for context. We conducted a parking study for a suburban commercial corridor in Cuyahoga County and found more than 75% of parking spots were empty at all times.

By @kileymcd’s contract projections, there are still around $2 billion worth of deals to come. Just because a team hasn’t spent yet doesn’t mean its winter is busted. (The Yankees, for example, traded for Juan Soto.) But there are some very interesting teams that haven’t partaken in free agency. And if you take the full value of Shohei Ohtani's deal with the Dodgers ($700 million) rather than its present-day value (~$460 million), he has accounted for 43.6% of all free agent spending by himself.
We're very excited to unveil the newly-revised Cuyahoga County Greenprint. The new version of the interactive map has even more features, including new layers and additional tools. Check it out!
