Excited to announce that we’ve created a new installation for #MarchMadness! “Playbook” by artist, Brose Partington, mimics a reclaimed basketball floor and reflects the gathering of teams from different courts.
Big thanks to @indsportscorp, and @marchmadness!
Happy Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Solstice, New Year & everything in between!

@Thequeenoffree gives the scoop on combining reading + art! 📚📚
This is your last week to enjoy the iconic & beloved Monument by Brian McCutcheon on Monument Circle. We commissioned this as a temporary 2 yr installation; due to popular demand, it’s been deployed for 4 yrs. It’s served our community so well. #thepubliccollection
@aloysiuscc They will be moved. Check out our website, IG & FB for other installation locations. We partner with IndyPL to keep them all stocked with books.
@indybhoffman@indylibrary It was not designed for the wear and tear of a permanent installation. It was designed as a temporary functional art installation. We’re glad you loved it and we have other new/active locations we hope you enjoy!
Have you paid a visit to the new @PublicCollect book share installation, The Mind Sails in Martin Luther King Jr. Park? We're so excited to have this local public art and literacy project in the park!
As some of our original temporary installations are being deinstalled, it’s heartwarming to hear from many of you who’ve grown so attached to them over the years. Thanks for the love. 💞

Due to our amazing partnerships, we’ve distributed over 91k books into the community. Proud to see Indy reconfirm commitment to literacy, art & equity at a special place such as MLK Memorial Park! Thank you all!
Today with @PublicCollect’s Rachel Simon, @indylibrary, & @IPS_CFI 2, we celebrated the launch of two new book share stations & the investment of more than 85,000 books in the community. The newest installation was designed & curated by local artist Atsu Kpotufe.
Congratulations to @IndyParksandRec@indylibrary@PublicCollect on the The Mind Sails book share in Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Park! It’s a great representation of social/educational equity - making reading accessible to all & a beautiful design by Atsu Kpotufe.
We’re proud to support The Public Collection’s commitment to eliminating barriers & creating equal access to books. The Mind Sails is more than a symbol, it is a step towards fulfilling the Kennedy-King legacy. Stop by the park & grab a new read. 📚
