@educationweek If sex ed is part of the curriculum, it should focus on the basic biological and physiological changes that occur in male and female bodies, grounded in science. More personal or sensitive topics are often best supported through families and/or healthcare providers.

@Teachers__Unite Over the years the system has lowered the bar and pushed for mediocrity. An outcome of that is grade inflation. For the system, the risk of offending someone or hurting feelings is far too great to set appropriate standards, expectations, discipline, and consequences.
