Pres celebrating the First Step Act - which he signed into law in December, and he hails as "a bipartisan achievement" to give prisoners a second chance at life. "We had a lot of great people who came together to get it done," he said, singling out his son-in-law Jared Kushner.
@rachanadixit While this case has been making its way through federal courts, the Trump admin has moved aggressively to approve Medicaid work requirements in several other states. New Hampshire residents just filed their own lawsuit.
U.S. District Judge James Boasberg -- who already struck down the Kentucky program once -- says @SecAzar did not consider the impact on health care coverage of Medicaid enrollees when implementing the work requirements.
@realDonaldTrump We absolutely will remember the great Republican Senators, President Trump, who actually care about strong Border Security and a Wall. And we will not forget those cowards who seem to have forgotten their first responsibility is to keep us SAFE!

One thing lost in discussion: the President’s executive action on the border is LEGAL, within the law as written. You can argue whether it should be, and if Congress wants to permanently rein in executive power, I'm in. Until then: @POTUS is right to address the border emergency.
