#TheMandalorianAndGrogu is a blast and amazing return to the big screen for Star Wars, I swear the fans just hate fun because I adored this. Amazing action, great characters, super fun story and charm, and a heavenly score. It isn't the best thing ever, but it's unbelievably fun.
Letterboxd is easily my favorite website/app/social media of all time easily and is the only reason I watch even half the movies I do and has had a massive hand in my love for film, which is my main passion now. Please don't sellout, my life would be over π
#LeeCroninsTheMummy is a nasty and fucking awesome take on a mummy horror movie. Feels like Evil Dead wrapped in ancient Egyptian vibes and a great slow burn mystery with a good helping of gory setpieces. That nail clippers scene. I never doubted you Mr. Cronin!
I'm off to see #LeeCroninsTheMummy in like 2 minutes and I don't even think the embargo is lifted RAAAAA I'm so hyped please don't let me down Lee Cronin β€οΈ
Holy shit I'm seeing #LeeCroninsTheMummy in theatres tonight. Top 3 most anticipated horror films this year despite all of the alleged behind the scenes issues & everybody's calling it nasty and terrifying? If this is bad I will actually be sad, but I don't doubt you Lee Cronin!
This is looking to be the best year for movies in a long time. Back to back from May we're getting the first Star Wars movie since Solo, then BACKROOMS, then Masters of the Universe AND Digital Circus, then Disclosure Day, then Toy Story, then Supergirl. Holy peak.
Lee Cronin, I never doubted you. The Mummy has been in my top 10 most anticipated for this year since it was announced and every trailer has gotten me even more hyped and now the early reactions are calling it horrifying and gnarly? The 16th cannot come soon enough, 5 days!
#Hoppers was an absurdly fun yet flawed Pixar movie, #DoctorPlague was a pretty terribly made but kind of enjoyable slasher, #NowYouSeeMeNowYouDont was a fun rewatch, and #Thrash was a surprisingly really enjoyable Netflix shark horror movie.
Probably posting on here more, so uhhhh... I just saw #Hoppers and while most of it was incredibly ridiculous and incredibly fun, some weird tonal issues and forced emotion near the end make it not ons of Pixar's best, but one of their most fun! The shark and insect king carried.
The amount of hate this post has gotten paired with the random influx of Romulus hate is insane, I rewatched it not too long ago and it's still fucking fire, completely agree that it's at least top 4. Film Twitter really is just a hivemind π
#Zodiac was an amazing detective movie with an insanely stacked cast, #Following was a good directorial debut for Nolan and had an awesome premise, I don't know why I watched #Octogames but I had a little bit of fun with it, and #Sicario was pretty decent but disappointing.
This movie (ultimate edition) is so fucking fun when everybody isn't telling you it's not. Is it a bad character adaptation? Probably. But is it also beyond awesome seeing the warehouse fight? Obviously yes yes and yes. (I'm not a snyder fan to be clear π)
#TheBride is fucking amazing! Such a fun ride packed with creativity, style, and bold swings that perplexes me as to why it's so divisive. Phenomenal characters, fun story, awesome settings, great music, great sense of humour, awesome ending, what did y'all expect?
I'm off to see #TheBride very soon and I'll see if it really is the best thing ever or the worst thing ever, I am incredibly excited but my opinion does NOT matter because I loved Joker 2, still hyped nonetheless π
