The Puli Lunar Water Snooper (PLWS) will be riding on board our FLIP rover to the lunar South Pole! Developed by @PuliSpace, this payload is a rugged, micro-sized, lightweight neutron spectrometer for exploring lunar water resources on the Moon. Puli Space aims to collect lunar water ice prospecting data along the FLIP rover path for potential use by future lunar explorers.

We’re happy to have the PLWS join our team of FLIP payloads that will help humanity better understand lunar composition and conditions.

The Puli Lunar Water Snoooper is on the Moon!

The same time sad and happy. Sad, because Athena tipped over and could only function for a very limited time. Happy because our little Puli Lunar Water Snooper worked for almost 40 minutes, sending telemetry all the time.

We are on the way to the Moon!
After liftoff on 26th February, 19:16 EST, @Int_Machines 's Athena lander successfully separated from the launch vehicle and is heading to the Moon.
We established contact with our little Puli Lunar Water Snooper and received regular telemetry. Wow!
