Now, after years of additional service as a Pullman PD Code Enforcement Officer, Sorem has finally decided to enjoy all that retirement has to offer.
We thank him for 44 total years of outstanding commitment to the @City_of_Pullman community, & wish him the very best.
It isn't often that a police officer retires, and then returns to the agency to continue their service. Lucky for us, Sam Sorem did just that...

Memorial Day is a time to reflect on the sacrifices made by those who never made it home and to recognize the families and loved ones who carry that loss each day.
From all of us at the Pullman Police Department, we remember and thank the fallen for their sacrifice.

It's National EMS Week!
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel provide emergency medical care at the scene of emergencies, and en route to medical facilities. EMTs, paramedics, and other EMS professionals are an invaluable part of the emergency services team.
Since 1776, there have been 27,361 known line of duty deaths in America.
Each year on May 15th, Peace Officers Memorial Day honors these courageous law enforcement officers, who gave their lives in service of others.
Today, we remember these fallen heroes.
