He's just moving his little hands like, "Yep... definitely grooming..." while secretly fighting the biggest battle of the day... staying awake! 😴😭
Every few seconds his eyes say, "Please let me nap..." but he keeps pretending to work. 🤣
The story repeats every single time Punch starts grooming... then ends up battling sleep instead! 😂😂🐒

Punch refused to play with tiny fans so they announced war in punch 😂

These little fans kept chasing him everywhere. Punch tried to escape, but one tiny chicks 🐥 even gave him a cheeky bite on the butt! 🤣
Punch wasn't about to stay quiet, though he gave the little troublemaker a gentle nibble on the head in return. 😂

No one was willing to back down, and then another tiny fan🐥joined the battle!
Punch looked all fierce and dramatic, but honestly... was he really clashing with them, or was he secretly hugging and kissing them in the name of wrestling? 😁
If Punch were actually being rough, the babies would scream or run away, right? But they didn't! Instead, they kept coming back for more, clearly enjoying the game and demanding another round. 😄
Punch wasn't interested in endless wrestling... but the tiny fans had other plans!

here is how macaques
(including Japanese macaques)
generally perceive humans.

🐒 They do not see humans as members of their own troop.
But they also do not treat humans
as completely unknown strangers.

🐒 Especially in zoos,
monkeys who have long contact with people
start to see humans as special social beings.

🐒 They can recognize individual humans.
They remember familiar keepers’ faces,
voices, and behavior.
They approach some people more
and avoid others.

🐒 Hand-raised monkeys like Punch
often see their keepers
as safe and reliable figures.

🐒 They can understand human gaze
to some degree.
They notice where a person is looking
and react according to the situation.

🐒 They can partly read human emotions.
They distinguish threatening faces
from gentle ones.
Sometimes they even show friendly signals
(like lip-smacking) toward familiar humans.

When humans are not threatening,

For Punch specifically,

Punch and Grandpa were having a fun little play session... until Punch's friend took it personally. 😂 He rushed over like, "Hey! You can't clash with my buddy!" and started arguing with Grandpa.
Then Dot Sister arrived, acting like the peacekeeper, trying to break up the monkey debate before it turned into a full family meeting. 🤣
Meanwhile, Kotora-chan was sitting off to the side, happily munching something and watching the whole thing like the movie's villain enjoying the drama: "Please continue... this is getting interesting." 🍿🐒
...Until Grandpa suddenly gave her a little surprise jolt. 😂
Monkey Mountain is really better than some TV dramas. 🤣🙈
