Tomorrow is my first shift as a registered nurse! Throughout school, A levels and University I always had doubts I wouldn’t achieve it. But here I am! Always believe in yourself and you can do anything!💗
It’s okay to not be okay. And that is something I’ve learnt having this time off. Take a step back if you need too, take time to self care. We can’t care for others if we can’t care for ourselves! #Nurses
Having had 3 months off work due to stress and anxiety it has given me so much time to reflect. I thought I was a rubbish nurse, giving my patients poor care and just a number in the nhs chain. But now I’m looking forward to getting back on the ward and giving it my all.
Our @NewcastleMedSch student Vicky will run the London marathon with her bone marrow donor to raise awareness of @AnthonyNolan and inspire others to sign up to the bone marrow register. Watch the @BBCLookEast report 👇https://t.co/WobmKHZW2a
This week I’ve started my first masters module and I’ve had the best time on a cornish staycation with family. I’m very content with life right now and excited too see what the future holds 💗
So that’s it, a place confirmed on my first masters module in enhancing end of life care. Can’t wait too learn more and support my patients in the best possible way at the end of their life. #punc#nursing 💗
Thinking of Ashley Cain, Safiyya Vorajee and their families as they celebrate Azaylia's life at today's funeral.
Azaylia tragically died of acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) on the 25th April at the age of just eight months. #LetsGoChamp#AzayliasDay
As #lockdown restrictions lift today across most parts of the UK, our CEO @gemmapeters urges the public to keep their distance to help keep people with #BloodCancer safe.
Please donate today and help us #GiveShieldersAnswers, because life isn't going back to normal for everyone.
So after a week of annual leave, I’m looking forward to going back to work tonight. Still can’t believe I am a registered nurse and I have the most amazing job. So proud to be part of the NHS family!💗
