Came to twitter to get info on vaccinations for 12-15 year olds, as only follow health care professionals…. Now I’m terrified my just turned 12 son is going to be manipulated into having vaccine at school, he is such a chilled kid he would just say yes.

@SF_England @NHSBSA_LSF 1st aug. Previously told their would be funding to support extending but uni have said today funding will not be granted to those extending through the summer as maintenance loan and grants paid cover period up to 31st aug.

@SF_England @NHSBSA_LSF I am a final year nursing student, completing placement hours over the summer due to covid effecting placements and owing hours. Academic work is all complete. Been told normal payments go up to 31st aug so any additional payments only start from 1st sept.

@DHSCgovuk is there an update on additional funding for nursing students who are having to extend degree to make up hours due to covid? @NHSBSA_LSF state they are awaiting info from you before being able to confirm if this will be available

@SF_England We haven’t had any I for@action on this from the uni, is that what is needed? So I don’t apply for finance the usual route? Im@not repeating just extending for max 2 months. I’m aware of support via lsf but don’t know if eligible also for further maintenance?
