Official 2024 SA Energy Trade Report (SARS data) shows Nigeria supplied 48% of crude imports (4.5 billion litres of 9.5 total). Saudi Arabia was next at 18%. Earlier years were similar (~47%). Refined products and local synthetic fuels change the overall mix.
