In 1992, my cousin, the eldest of three brothers from my mother’s side, had just started middle school and begun wearing a turban.
One evening, a police party came to his village and started picking up Sikh teenage boys who wore turbans, as if they had orders to fill their vehicles with them. They came to my uncle’s house, dragged my cousin outside, and tried to force him into the police jeep.
The entire family jumped on him and formed a human shield. They refused to let the police take him away. That is how he survived.
If the police had taken him away and killed him in a fake encounter, his younger brothers would almost certainly have picked up guns to take revenge.
KPS Gill and Beant Singh didn’t end militancy, they created more militants by targeting innocent Sikh families and killing teenage boys in fake encounters.
There's a Monopoly of Victimhood in India. If its Hindu victimhood, even the most brazen lies are allowed. But heroes like Jaswant Singh Khalra and reality of 2002 pogrom are censored

Same Pakistani gangster Shehzad Bhatti also hired Anil Kumar from UP for blast outside BSF Punjab Frontier HQ in Jalandhar, but this bastard @himalayanhindu could not find courage to label Anil Kumar as ‘terrorist’.
The selective release of the video recording of the discussion held inside the Secretariat of Sri Akal Takht Sahib between the Jathedar Sahiban and the individuals summoned before them is neither appropriate nor fair. Such actions not only present the facts in an incomplete manner but also create confusion among the Sikh Sangat and undermine the dignity, sanctity, and credibility of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
A similar incident occurred during my tenure as Jathedar, when only selected portions of one of my videos were made public. That incomplete footage was subsequently used to create a misleading narrative. When only carefully chosen excerpts of a conversation are released instead of the complete discussion, the truth becomes obscured, and the Sangat is deprived of the full context necessary to form an informed opinion.
In principle, videos of discussions taking place inside the Secretariat of Sri Akal Takht Sahib should not be made public at all. This is a matter concerning established traditions, institutional decorum, and the credibility of the institution. However, if there was a compelling reason to release such footage, then the entire video and the complete conversation should have been made public, rather than selective clips, so that everyone could understand the full context and form an objective opinion.
Furthermore, the Secretariat of Sri Akal Takht Sahib should clarify how such selective videos are being released and under whose authorization this is taking place. It should also explain how spokespersons of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) are displaying letters written by Sri Akal Takht Sahib or its Secretariat to the Chief Minister during their press conferences. Transparency and accountability in such matters are essential to safeguard the dignity of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and preserve the trust and confidence of the Sikh Sangat.
Modi tried to give powers to Adani to hoard food by diluting essential commodities act via farm laws. Farmers protested against it and got it repealed.
Now they have removed anti-monopoly law to give enormous powers to Adani to control your food. You demonised farmers and labelled them as criminals. And now you have no one to fight for you.
A Hindu Punjabi named Sujan Rai Bhandari wrote about it in 1696. He said the country stayed in a ruinous state, and all you could see was devastation. People just got out of the way when the raids came. Many left and never
returned.
For nearly three hundred years — from the 1200s right through the 1400s, the Mongols raided Punjab almost every year. Multan, sitting on their main invasion route, got the worst of it. The Beas river became the frontier. Everything west of it was under Mongol control.
Almost a decade ago, this sting was conducted by Cobrapost to expose how right wing used prominent media houses to run propaganda, fake and toxic news against opponents. Even during SAD-BJP govt, BJP backstabbed Akali Dal through these media outlets.
Vote for AAP, Congress or Akali Dal, but never choose BJP. @BhagwantMann@sunilkjakhar@officeofssbadal@RajaBrar_INC
To save Mattewara forests, thousands of farmers, activists and locals protested for months.
Now same forests are under attack by mining mafia. An illegal road has been opened by cutting thousands of trees to run illegal trucks for ferrying illegal sand.
Is @BhagwantMann govt sleeping or part of problem?
Never trust sanghis & snakes.
For last five years, they have been running 24/7 campaigns to defame and vilify Panjab, Sikhs in general and Jatt community in particular to sow seeds of hatred & polarization.
They exerted their full force, used their IT Cells to target farmers and Darbar Sahib, and ran boycott campaigns against gurudwaras. Even PM Modi chose to visit deras to create Haryana-style politics.
BJP’s anti-drug campaign ambassador for Punjab used his art to mislead Sikh children to become addicted to vodka.
What next... Ram Rahim as Child & Women Welfare Ambassador? @RavneetBittu@sunilkjakhar@tarunchughbjp@MSBADAL

35-year-old Jaswinder Singh, a serving soldier of the Border Security Force died in the custody of the Narcotics Control Bureau in Jammu. He was examined for the last time around 12.15 pm on 18 March, according to that day’s medical report. “Accused is physically fit after clinical examination in my opinion,” the doctor wrote, after checking his blood pressure, pulse and oxygen levels. He further noted that Jaswinder had been “conscious, cooperative well oriented.” A few hours later, Madan Lal, the third additional sessions judge in Jammu, recorded that Jaswinder had been physically produced at 2.10 pm and remanded him to the custody of the NCB until 23 March.
The postmortem report, however, noted that the bulk of the injuries were inflicted on Jaswinder between two- and four-days prior, which suggests that they were inflicted either just before or just after his last medical examination, and after being produced in front of a judge on 18 March. The report also noted that nine injuries were eighteen to twenty-four hours old. The latter included a “V shaped bruise of size 7.1 x 1.6 cm” on the chest, an injury to the head resulting in a haemorrhage and a bruise below the right eye.
