How $PUNZ works, in 30 seconds.
Buy → 3% of your ETH becomes sPONS, a PONS short, held in a contract only holders can redeem from.
Sell → 3% of the PUNZ burns.
Every minute the vault re-prices the short on PONS's real price.

First 11 hours: 4.3 ETH into the PONS short, 88M PUNZ burned. 100% of fees to holders, 0% to anyone else. The contracts have no owner and no withdraw function.
Every number is pulled from chain events. The raw JSON is public.

gn punz.
Big day. v2 went live: a real PONS short on Robinhood Lighter, held by a contract nobody controls, fed by every trade. The new site is up at https://t.co/5pNCJLtOxf with the live position, the vault and the feed all in one place. Every contract is verified. The code is public.
The short has grown from a few dollars this morning to over a thousand PONS by tonight, on fees alone. It keeps running while everyone sleeps. Nobody has to do anything.
Introducing PUNZ v2.
PUNZ is a meme coin on Robinhood Chain that bets against PONS. You don't do anything. You buy the coin, and the coin does the rest.
Here's how. Every trade pays a 3% fee. Every minute, that fee is picked up automatically. The ETH half is used to short PONS on Robinhood Lighter, a real order book, at 1.5x. The PUNZ half is burned. More volume means a bigger short and a smaller supply, and nobody takes a cut.
What's new, and what nobody has done before: the short isn't in someone's wallet. It's held by a smart contract that no person controls. The exchange will only ever pay withdrawals back to that contract, and the key you'd need to move the money anywhere else doesn't exist. Every holder can burn their PUNZ at any time to close their slice of the short and get paid. No team approval, no admin, no lock.
This sits on top of v1, which is still running. v1 is our own on-chain vault where the coin's fees buy a tokenized PONS short that settles instantly and can never be liquidated. v2 is the same idea taken to the real market. Both are fed by the same fees, both can be redeemed by burning PUNZ, and together they mean the coin is backed by a short in two places at once.
Everything is automatic and everything is public. You can watch the position live, read the code, and redeem yourself without trusting us or the website.

$PUNZ is fully open source.
Contracts, tests, the crash simulation, the keeper bots, the vault UI. ~600 lines of Solidity, every deployed contract verified on Blockscout, and instructions to do everything straight from the explorer without touching our site.

No audit yet. Read the code, it's short.
$PUNZ Telegram is live.
Every harvest, every burn, every sPONS the bot pays to holders, every vault entry, every redeem, straight from the contracts with the tx link. Hourly summary on top.

Update: the $PUNZ peg bot now pays 100% of its profit to holders.
Its job is to keep the sPONS chart at vault NAV. Fees push the price up, it sells back down, and pockets the spread. From now on everything it earns goes into the Backing contract, the one only PUNZ holders can withdraw from.
Two streams into the floor now: 3% of every buy, plus the bot's spread. Zero of it to us.
First payment landed: 219.85 sPONS, floor +3.1% in one tx.

Why sPONS +15% and not +70%: it's a pooled vault. The short side can only win what the long side holds, and the long side is 0.5 ETH vs 2.4 ETH short because PUNZ fees all land on the short. Every ETH that goes long makes the short sharper. That's the trade on offer at https://t.co/iUaYSeVal5 right now.
Built it. Live on Robinhood Chain for 2 hours.
$PUNZ is a meme coin whose 3% buy fee is converted every minute into sPONS, a tokenized 1x PONS short in an on-chain vault. Sell fees burn supply. Any PUNZ redeems for its share of the short.
Left chart is real: the vault has been moving value between long and short on every PONS tick since launch. lPONS +38% on a +1.3% PONS move because the long side is small.
Right chart is a fork of the live contracts run just now: dump 4M PONS on its real Uniswap pool, PONS −70%, sPONS +15%, PUNZ floor +15%, lPONS −70%. No liquidation, no keeper discretion, vault owner is 0x0.

90 minutes in.
50,519,711 $PUNZ burned. 5% of supply, all from sell fees, all automatic.
1.12 ETH of buy fees converted into the PONS short. 4,459 sPONS now sits behind the coin, redeemable by any holder.
Floor started at zero. It only goes up.

Live status page for the PONS short inside $PUNZ. Every number is a contract read from Robinhood Chain, refreshed every 30s. Nothing typed in by us.
https://t.co/zcD7NzCMCm
1.03 ETH of trade fees converted into the short so far. 2,847 sPONS in the Backing contract, redeemable by any holder. 42M PUNZ burned. Floor up 4,000%+ since launch, from zero.
The vault is 8:1 short right now because every PUNZ buy funds the short side. That makes the long side the trade: lPONS is currently an 8x long on PONS with no liquidation and max loss of 1x. Open to anyone.

Your post inspired this, so I built $PUNZ.
It trades against ETH. ETH fees buy or mint sPONS, a tokenized PONS short; PUNZ fees burn. Holders can burn PUNZ to redeem their share of the sPONS backing.
Would love your take on the mechanism.

Don't trust the chart, read the contracts.
Vault: sharePriceWei(1) = sPONS NAV, shortBal() = ETH on the short side, epochCount() = rebalances.
Backing: sponsBacking() = sPONS held, floorWeiPerToken() = what one PUNZ redeems for.
Every harvest and rebalance is a tx on those two addresses. The sPONS chart on GMGN only shows 2 swaps because the contract mints at NAV from the vault instead of overpaying on a thin pool.
Proof the PONS short inside $PUNZ is real. 17 minutes after launch.
Top: PONS fell 1.4% vs ETH. sPONS, the short token backing PUNZ, rose. The long token fell with PONS. Inverse, on-chain, rebalanced every minute against the PONS TWAP.
Bottom: every trade's 3% fee went into that short. 16 harvests, 29 rebalances. Short side of the vault 0.20 → 0.56 ETH. Backing 0 → 1,177 sPONS, redeemable by any PUNZ holder.
Vault owner is 0x0. Nobody can touch it, including us.

Meet $PUNZ — the other side of PONS.
I built an ETH vault with long and short sides. It reads a time-weighted average PONS price directly from Uniswap, and anyone can trigger a rebalance.
When PONS falls, ETH moves from the long side to the short side. When PONS rises, it moves the other way. sPONS represents shares in that short side.
PUNZ trades against ETH with a 3% trading fee. Collected ETH fees buy or mint sPONS for the backing contract. Fees collected in PUNZ are burned, reducing supply.
Any PUNZ can be redeemed at any time for its proportional share of the sPONS backing. That's a floor under the price — holding or trading needs nothing from you
Trading activity can build more backing, while falling PONS can increase its value in ETH.
PUNZ still has its own market price. Backing can lose value, and the short’s gains depend on the collateral available in the vault.
