Republicans trolling female loyalist activists, this shows the hate they have for members of our community,it isn't new it happens regularly when Kellie-Anne and others post on social media and yet we hear no condemnation from nationalist politicians who talk about equality.
Fantastic image taken by @Kscott_94 at Portadown last night as fireworks went off in preparation to light their Disney themed bonfire. What a great evening for everyone involved & a superb cultural display. Credit to the builders & community for putting on a fantastic show.
There is a clear escalation & orchestration of hatred & discrimination toward PUL culture. Community bonfires have been attacked by Nationalists throwing petrol bombs. Pitt Park & Adam Street bonfires were despicably attacked & could have resulted in serious injury or worse.
During the Adam Street petrol bomb attack, four young PUL members were sitting on the bonfire. At Pitt Park, a 16 year old boy was in the bonfire when a petrol bomb was thrown. We are fortunate that no-one was seriously injured. These sectarian attacks could have killed someone.
Continued antagonism & aggression will only heighten tensions further. Nationalist attacks on PUL culture must stop immediately. It is the ambition of every Loyalist to enjoy peaceful celebrations in the coming days. Any escalation of cultural attacks makes that unlikely.
We ask that political leaders publicly commit to the below:
The total condemnation & cessation of Nationalist attacks on Loyalist bonfires.
Reiterate that PUL culture should be respected by all.
Offer support & solidarity to Loyalist victims of sectarian cultural attacks.
We ask that political leaders make these three public commitments urgently to demonstrate that “Cultural Rights are Human Rights” & to show effective leadership at this sensitive time.

Let’s Talk Loyalism is officially launching its “Cultural Rights are Human Rights” campaign in response to the recent intimidation & assault on PUL culture. Everyone should be free to celebrate their tradition & culture peacefully. No more demonisation. No more discrimination.
