Dr. Aaron Specht has investigated bird flu cases in critically endangered California condors since 2023, soon after 21 condors died from an avian flu event. Specht administered a vaccine developed for vultures to prevent the spread of bird flu.

It's #internship season! Matthew is working at the @Toyota manufacturing plant in Princeton, IN. It has been a great opportunity to put the safety and industrial hygiene principles he learned in class into practice and experience one of many workplaces our #OEHS graduates end up.
