Here recently more people have been drawn to me and Rashad. We’ve gotten so many kind compliments and I’m always so honored by them. We are very devoted to each other and this relationship. One thing I admire about him is his dedication to understanding.

Then there’s all these little tokens of care and love he does daily. I just… I remember thinking about what my husband would be like and what kind of marriage I would have wanted to be in and I got more than I dreamed of. I truly did.

Well of course he stays he’s your husband. Nah. He stays because he chooses to. I’m grateful for that. He really doesn’t have to be here if he doesn’t want to be. I don’t either. We both acknowledge that often. This is a choice and that’s a reason why it’s so special to me.

And through every level, through growing pains, he extended his understanding. Growing pains aren’t fun to have or to be around and he stays.

I think about us a lot. My relationship with Rashad is one of my most favorite things in the world. We have been through a lot individually and together. Throughout all levels of growth he’s always been dedicated to understanding me and us.
