@AusRepNEWS@sussanley I believe in the best possible outcome for the millions of tax payer dollars spent on the RC. I have seen it happening with other RCs. Probably we already know the failures. We are so connected globally an independent research team doing the same can be as effective.
@AusRepNEWS@sussanley A Royal Commission consists of significant bureaucracy with a hefty bill. Policies are already being formulated around immigration, hate speech etc. Taxpayers are confused why there is little support for a lesser top heavy panel made up of experts evaluating the situation.
@newscomauHQ Please don't waste the staggering fine paying bureaucrats to have an independent inquiry. Instead advise vulnerable citizens have a spare phone with an alternate network at a reasonable cost. Appoint tech experts to audit telcos for critical infrastructure maintenance.
@JAParker29@7NewsAustralia@LiamRBartlett With due respect, taking a closer look at the alignment between ADF and APS may be imperative. APS provides invaluable support to the ADF to prioritise resource allocation which in itself is a very complex issue and is in the centre of building the Defence capability.
@abcnews When US falls short of manufacturing capability to build submarines to meet their own demand, can political negotiations with Donald Trump increase the manufacturing capability in the US to meet the additional demand for submarines in Australia? Not quite sure.
@AntonyGreenElec Thank you for your clear and concise election analysis over 3 decades. Wish you all the best in your future endeavours. I always enjoyed listening to ABC election commentary much appreciated.
@TheMandarinAU Politically appointed Flunkies as DLO may be forced to act in the best interest of the Political party instead of upholding the public service, A political view of frank and fearless advice. Hope this move helps to uphold the A political value of the public servants.
@nogulagsagain If you thought you should take note of everything that a politician says you have a lot more to learn. Truly sorry you will be greatly disappointed
@crikey_news@BernardKeane I will give the benefit of the doubt, in the absence of any countermeasures, to Dan. Justifiable if there was no alternative course recommended. People's lives are important.
@AndrewJFowler@SamRoggeveen When it comes to multi billion dollar fiasco the parties seem to be united as opposed to a few airline tickets with so much hype. Are we in disarray?
@kevinperry What would be a proportionate response by Palestinians if Israelis had abducted 200 Palestinians and killed 1000 Palestinians? Having asked this question comments are welcome on what would be a disproportionate response as well ?
@whatsn2day What about socialising at workplace? I thought if you mind your own business in public service you were considered mentally ill. Public servants should jump on the band wagon to go back. After all that is good socialising? Correct me if I am wrong . Your say matters.
@9NewsMelb 23000 incidents is a lot and can provide lots of data and information to create profiles of young criminals. The public must be alerted. Not sure what is fuelling youth crime. There may be deeper concerns.
@wikileaks@AndrewJFowler Just finished reading the book. NUKED was so engaging. As a former Researcher in Public Sector Governance and Accountability I found the conflicts of interests, the lack of accountability, and politics before policy appalling. The truth behind spending $380B of public money.
