FBI Director Kash Patel just confirmed that James Comey is currently facing felony charges for threatening the president.

Comey allegedly posted the direct threat, then quickly deleted it and tried to cover it with a weak apology. All of that evidence was presented to the grand jury, and now he’ll have his day in court facing a jury of his peers.

If found guilty, he could face a sentence of several decades.
