“indeed, Allah never wrongs anyone, even by an atom's weight. And if it is a good deed, He will multiply it many times over and will give a great reward out of His grace.”
— Surah An-Nisa (4:40)
“But indeed, I am the Perpetual Forgiver of whoever repents and believes and does righteousness and then continues in guidance.”
— Surah Taha (Chapter 20, Verse 82)
Imam Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said:
"The reason for being overwhelmed by the non-Muslims is because of the sins of the Muslims which causes the deficiency in their Iman. Then after that if they repent by perfecting their Eemaan Allaah will aid them."
[Al-Jawab As-Saheeh, 6/450]
Ibn al-Qayyīm (رحمه الله):
"This bond between the husband and wife is among the most beloved of affairs to Allah and His Messenger (ﷺ) ,
so it is among the most hated of affairs to the enemy of Allah (Shaytān)."
[Rawdat al-Muhibbin]
Abu Huraira reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "On Friday there is an hour when, if a Muslim happens to pray at that time and ask Allāh for something good, He will give it to him."
📚 Sahih Muslim 852
“Say, ‘O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful’”
— Al Qur’aan (39:53)
By the night as it envelops
And by the day as it appears in brightness.
And by Him Who created male and female.
Certainly, your efforts and deeds are diverse (different in aims and purposes).
As for him who gives (in charity) and keeps his duty to Allah and fears Him,
And believes in the best (reward)
We will make smooth for him the path of ease (goodness).
But he who is greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient,
And denies the best (reward)
We will make smooth for him the path for evil.
And what will his wealth avail him when he goes down (in destruction)?
Truly! On Us is (to give) guidance.
And truly, unto Us (belong) the last (Hereafter) and the first (this world).
Therefore I have warned you of a Fire blazing fiercely,
None shall enter it save the most wretched,
Who denies and turns away.
And the righteous will be far removed from it (Hell).
He who spends his wealth for increase in self-purification,
And who has (in mind) no favour from anyone to be paid back,
Except to seek the Countenance of his Lord, the Most High.
He surely will be pleased (when he enters Paradise).
—Qur’an | Surah Layl
I just received word that @IjazTheTrini developed pneumonia and his body went into a state of sepsis. He's currently in a hospital.
Duas for the brother.
Imam ibn taymiyah رحمه اللّٰه said ;
When (a person) recites the qur'an and thinks about what it means, that is from the most powerful of means of holding him back from sins .
[ Majmoo'al-Fatawaa | vol. 20, pg. 123 ]
“Those with deep insight never feel safe from four matters:
• A sin committed in the past which they don't know what Allah has done with it.
• A lifespan which remains to unfold, they don't know what lies in it of destruction
• A blessing given to the slave, which could perhaps be a curse and an allure or bait, and misguidance which has been beautified for a person such that he sees it as guidance
• A slip of the heart for a short moment wherein a person's religion is seized away and he does not feel it."

"Indeed, Iman wears out inside one of you just as a garment wears out, so ask Allah to renew Iman in your hearts."
— Prophet Muhammad المعجم الكبير للطبراني (١٤٦٦٨) ﷺ
