Support of up to ₹5 crore will be provided to establish Odia cuisine restaurants in:

• Metro Cities:
Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata

• Tourist Destinations:
Agra, Varanasi, Goa, Kochi, Jaipur

• Within Odisha:
Across 77 DoT-notified tourist destinations in Odisha.

A big step towards taking Odia cuisine to the national stage.

Jagannath culture must spread, but not at the cost of diluting its originality.

There’s no harm in building new Jagannath temples—hundreds exist worldwide. But replicating the 12th-century Puri temple & calling it “Jagannath Dham” is definitely not acceptable.

There is only one Jagannatha Dham in this world. Period.
