@nicoraytruth You know how the Catholic Church has some things in the category of private revelation (if it is called that) that members are not under obligation to believe? I think the King Follet discourse could fall under a category like that. It was not added to the standard works.
@NewEnglandLass Prydain Chronicles by Lloyd Alexander or something by Trenton Lee Stewart like The Mysterious Benedict Society or the standalone Secretkeepers.
@realDrTT I consider it like we of other denominations are members of an orchestra playing different instruments. We might think someone is playing the wrong notes but they are playing what the composer wrote for their instrument & when combined, we hear a magnificent complete symphony
@DarthKeidran@realDrTT There is a great podcast by Father Mark Mary Ames called the Rosary in a Year. You can also order the book that accompanies it as it has everything written out and includes pictures of famous paintings for each of the mysteries. It is a wonderful resource.
@realDrTT We know the truth about Christ is hidden or veiled in the Old Testament. I think these people in the Book of Mormon we have read about so far, Lehi and Nephi especially, knew of the prophecies of the coming of Christ, so they often spoke about what would come.
@realDrTT I think that what you are describing is what I had to do when first trying to understand the Rosary. I had to surrender my concerns and try to experience it with a humble heart. That’s when I began to see and feel the power and beauty in it.
