The Seoul Southern District Court has temporarily seized HYBE Chairman Bang Si hyuk’s shares, worth about 156.8 billion KRW (≈ 113 million USD), as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged fraudulent and illegal trading.

Prosecutors requested the seizure to prevent the assets from being moved before trial.

HYBE stated, “Seizure is a routine procedure and does not determine guilt or innocence. We have faithfully cooperated with the investigation and provided explanations, and are awaiting the investigative authorities' decision.”
