Let me tell you an old story. Before Jin joined Gucci, and before he enlisted in the military, he was a global ambassador for LV. Then, while Jin was serving in the military, an article came out saying:
"A, who was in charge of PR at LV, resigned from the company. The biggest reason was his failure to renew the ambassador contract with the BTS. He moved to Gucci, but the contract-related stress was not over yet. Although H*, a member of girl group N*, is currently under an ambassador contract with Gucci, Gucci is asking him to sign a contract with another K-pop star."
And a few months later, on the day Jin was discharged from the military, there were bouquets of flowers, cakes, and countless Gucci bags laid out in front of HYBE.
Honestly, we weren’t even thinking about Gucci. How many luxury brands are there in the world?
We wanted Jin to try them all, one brand at a time, and then maybe choose one in the end.
We weren’t planning to marry him off at such a young age.
Gucci is already going out of its way to tell us how beautiful our man is, so if those other people start talking bullshit, tell them this: Gucci wasn’t even thinking about you in the first place.

👤Do ppl still recognize you even if you cover both your name and face completely?
🐹Well, I'm not quite sure since it's me I see every day, but ARMYs recognize me almost unbelievably well. Even if I wear a cap, a mask, and pull the hood of my t-shirt all the way down, they still go, 'Oh, it's Jin!' just by looking at my back. I think they even remember my physique and the way I walk.
👤Is there a time when you think of Gucci w/o the name or the logo?
🐹These days, whenever I see something pretty(beautiful), 'That’s so Gucci' just naturally comes to mind. Since I'm constantly getting new inspiration through Gucci, I instinctively associate it with Gucci whenever I come across something that looks attractive to my eyes.

👤This campaign delves into the moment you fall in love. Are you the type who intuitively knows at first sight that you’re going to like something?
🐹I’m the type who knows it at first sight. Rather than glancing around at other options, once I set my mind at somthing, I tend to focus solely on that and try to let those feelings grow.

👤In your solo album, you sang about a journey toward happiness. I think your partnership with Gucci is also part of that journey. Is there a lyric of yours that resonates with this feeling?
🐹''A soft whisper coming by my side'. It’s a line from 'With the Clouds', a track on my 2nd solo album <Echo>. (I chose this) as Gucci is a partner who is always by my side, making me feel comfortable and gently supporting/embracing me. It’s a part of my journey.

👤Both Jin and BTS as well as Demna and Gucci, have passed through a new chapter. How do you manage your condition ahead of an important event?
🐹The most basic yet the most important thing is 'sleep'. While my schedule is irregular due to the nature of my job, I try my best to keep my target sleep time. It's becos I have to maintain a strong boby and being in good condition so that I tackle any task without being thrown off balance.

👤Do you still enjoy quiet resting time at home? On the flip side, when are the moments you recharge your energy outside?
🐹My ordinary daily life I spend at home is still my biggest source of recharging, such as lying down to rest or spending time to eat a proper meal.
The rare moments I gain energy outside are when I go to work. In other words it's the the time when I go to meet ARMY. Those are the most precious moments to me.

👤You once said 'I grew from the moment I realized that others could be happy because of me.' What has been the biggest change since that realization?
🐹I came to realize that words I spoke with the intention of making people laugh could sometimes hurt someone. Since then, I’ve become much more cautious what I say things and I also got to speak less.
That doesn’t mean I’m trying to hide away or stay quiet all the time, though. If it’s about something everyone can laugh together comfortably, I always try to be the first to lighten the mood cheerfully.
