Iran report says 16,500 dead in ‘genocide under digital darkness’

"Figures compiled by staff in eight major eye hospitals and 16 emergency departments across the country reveal that at least 16,500-18,000 people have been killed and 330,00 to 360,000 injured, including children and pregnant women. At least 700 to 1,000 people have lost an eye. One eye hospital in Tehran alone, Noor Clinic, has documented 7,000 eye injuries. “There are so many shotgun-related eye injuries that we do not know whom to treat first,” said one ophthalmologist."

What’s going on? The headlines scream “TACO,” but his supporters like Sen Graham insist otherwise. Worth remembering: this wouldn’t be the first time he did a head fake. He ran a similar feint last year ahead of the 12-Day War. A carrier strike group is moving into theater—timelines matter. In the meantime, they’re watching Iran’s reactions, command-and-control posture, and emergency protocols.

I hope that’s what this is. Because if not, this could have worse consequences than Obama’s Syria redline collapse.

Either way, the regime is financially insolvent. Even IRGC-linked banks are effectively bankrupt. They’ve alienated most of the population. The Israelis will strike the missile program. We’ve moved closer than ever to a regime change policy. Medium-term survival looks bleak. Short term? Ugly for everyone.

Video/Photos confirm the presence of Iraqi Shiite militia vehicles belonging to the armed wing of the "Islamic Movement of Iraq" (Harakat al-Islamiyah), commanded by Abu Azrael (@abu_azrael78), in the streets of Shahsavar, Iran.

These forces are part of a larger deployment of 60 buses filled with foreign combatants that entered Iran last week specifically to slaughter protesters. The regime is outsourcing the massacre to regional proxies to crush the #IranRevolution.

The world must recognize this as an internationalized crime against civilians.

ما د�� روزهای گذشته با نمایندگان مجلس، قانون‌گذاران در کانادا و مسوولین وزارت خارجه در تماس بوده‌ایم و خواستار برخوردی قاطع با حکومتِ رو به زوالِ جمهوری اسلامی ��ده‌ایم. در ادامه‌ی این فعالیت‌ها، خواسته‌هایی هم از دنیای آزاد طلب می‌کنیم:

۱. پرونده‌ی جنایات سازمان‌یافته‌ی جمهوری اسلامی را به شورای امنیت ببرید. لازم است شورای امنیت بلافاصله درباره‌ی این کشتار تشکیل جلسه دهد و قاطعانه علیه جمهوری اسلامی ایران تصمیم‌گیری کند تا دیوان بین‌المللی کیفری برای انجام تحقیقات وارد عمل شود.
۲، سفیران جمهوری اسلامی را از کشورهای خود اخراج کنید. عوامل جاسوسی و جنایت نباید جایی در دنیای آزاد داشته باشند.
۳. خشونت افسارگسیخته‌ی جنایتکاران و وقوع اعدام‌ها باید بلافاصله متوقف شد. زندانیان سیاسی باید بلافاصله آزاد شوند.
۴. ��سترسی به اینترنت آزاد و تلفن از حقوق اولیه‌ی انسان‌هاست. به ایرانیان داخل ایران کمک کنید تا دنیا را از جنایتی که رخ داده است آگاه کنند.

حکومت جمهوری اسلامی محکوم به سقوط است. این حکومت هرگز صلاحیت حکمرانی بر مردم و سرزمین ایران را نداشته است. ساقط کردن این حکومت یک ضرورت است و تنها حقیقت‌یابی و مجازات عاملین و آمرینِ جنایات می‌تواند به سوگوارانِ امروز کمک کند. آن‌چه در ایران رخ می‌دهد مصداق آشکار «جنایت علیه بشریت» است. فوری و بدون اتلاف وقت به کمک مردم ایران بشتابید. ما تا روز دادخواهی، قاتلین فرزندان ایران را نه فراموش می‌کنیم و نه می‌بخشیم.

Mr. President @POTUS/@realDonaldTrump It is both morally right and morally advisable to fulfill your promise to the Iranian people that you would come to their aid. According to multiple verifiable sources and documented evidence, the regime of the Ayatollahs has massacred tens of thousands of men and women—young boys and girls—in the streets over the past few days.

As President of the United States, you promised these young freedom-loving, unarmed innocent protesters that help would be on the way, that they should keep protesting, that America stands with them, that they should take back their institutions, and that those who open fire on them would be held accountable, that the US will start shooting at the regime if the security forces cross the lines.

By drawing a clear red line for the regime, you have created a moral obligation to take meaningful and proportionate action against the tyrants of Tehran. America’s enemies are closely watching U.S. actions to see whether the United States will follow through.

An important question being asked is how can we fight for our freedom against a brutal regime that is armed to the teeth and has no qualms about carrying out massacres against its own people?

It is quite axiomatic that freeing ourselves from the clutches of Khamenei’s tyrannical regime is not the responsibility of the United States. The bulk of the responsibility falls on us, but the US can at least help us in concrete ways to achieve this goal. A tepid reaction to the regime or lack there of will only embolden the regime.

The moment you step back and fail to deliver on your promise to Iranian protesters, the regime will step forward and send many thousands to the gallows.

As President Reagan once said the US has at times moral obligations. It is not just about national interests of the US, it is about human dignity.
