@LWhistledown101 Fingers crossed we get to see that happen next season. I do hope George stays around often enough. There's something about the two of them that feel foundational to the show. #MurdochMysteries
For the future seasons, I hope we continue to see the evolution of Toronto and Canada and have more Canadian History/Heritage themes. I personally would love to see more historical characters, social change, and tech evolution like we saw in season 8. #MurdochMysteries
I'll say the later seasons don't have the "magic" earlier seasons had but that was Victoria Era Murdoch. We're now in the Georgian era and we can't expect our favourite characters to be in a semi-vacuum as their world moves forward. #MurdochMysteries
I have to admit seeing the same main 4 was a comfort point over the seasons but with everyone moving up in their lives in their own ways I think it's an opportunity for growth for everyone. Like others mentioned with new dynamics in those new roles. #MurdochMysteries
I couldn't help see the symbolism in the last scene with William & George walking back from the port. Felt like it was saying this partnership will continue after all the highs and lows they've had over the years. #MurdochMysteries
Though I hope it could be a short tenure so that they aren't separated for long. Though I hoped Julia might have been able to do the London work in Toronto. #MurdochMysteries
It was a nice recall to the early days of William and Julia working together on a case. Though Julia's career opportunity felt like a curveball, it is a logical step. We've seen characters before going to London to advance their careers. #MurdochMysteries
